I'm no TH-camr but just a garage owner and mechanic, I think if you posted individual jobs as videos I think this would increase your views etc. I'm not ashamed to admit that sometimes I have to look on TH-cam when doing a job just for that extra guidance. You are obviously an intelligent technician so you've got the knowledge already. Take a look at other You Tubers like bazmeredith and DiyDaly as an example of shooting jobs. Keep up the good work 👍🏼
Now Jaguar has stopped making the E Pace, the dealers are full of S/H R Paces at Mickey Mouse money. I had two E Paces one after the other. The first one was from new when it first came out, chopped it in at 30k and got a 6 month old demo car, kept that for 3 years again at around 35k. They were both my private vehicles. Had some warranty niggles with the first one, but the second one was sweet ! Love to see the F Pace’s engine at that mileage Josh. 👍
Sorry for the long comment but you will understand my anger 😂 Suggestion for you to make a video on how to check if you send your car in for service the garage change your oil. Even main-dealers. Because my Jaguar XF X260 had a p049B-00 code, after spending money on EGR filter change, couple days later it came back with something to do with NOX sensor code, Paid for that and then it came back than they made me pay for DPF cleaning. Same code came back with Cam position sensor but this time I just drove it to my friends He checked it looked at the oil and told me to go get new oil and filter When he took it out he was like mate I don’t think anyone you been sending your car to changed the oil it’s looks like 2-3 service’s ago Bottom line it was all due to soot building because oil wasn’t changed.
I would like to express my appreciation for the exceptional service I received from the team. I recently had my timing chain and turbo replaced, and the workmanship was outstanding. I extend my gratitude to Josh and the entire team for their professionalism and expertise. Thank you, GOD Bless. David
Injector seals leaking into the engine causes a lot of carbon in the oil, its possible it may block the oil pickup screen. That maybe why the Transit turbos were failing. Also the crazy oil service schedules don't help. Appreciate you putting the time and effort in putting out these videos, thanks. Steve.
Interesting stuff Josh.. It's a Heinz 57 job.. You'll take a bite at any make or model. As I was growing up it was always the engines outlasting the body.. Now it seems the other way round. Looking forward to seeing you resurrect that iPace.
id love to hear and see what your thoughts are on the 3.0sdv6 Range rover engine how bad are they what goes wrong why and how to reduce the risk of cam failure injector failure abd dpf issues. Because even when you do everything right with them the evil engine goes wrong are they made out of cheese. Id love to see you upgrade a crank and the turbo on one of these is that even possible
I recently got some work done on a high mileage Volvo S60 diesel, although the timing belt was in schedule I got the garage to change the auxillary belt as they are known to snap and take the timing belt out.,cheaper than a changing the engine.
Try and get yaself a generic end clip video so you don't have to film a new outro at home for every video you do... Save time. Enjoying the journey so far, i've watched all the vids since Salvage rebuilds featured you in their gearbox rebuild video and the hyrbid they brought you. I'd love to get my car into you guys - i've sent an email to the reception hoping you can glance over it (email ends in 2703). Thumbs up
It’s frankly serendipitous to me that half the mechanics on my feed is proper working on ingeniums and DPFs across the pond. I almost want to get in there and start working on it with you guys haha. I know this vehicle well.

Good work. I like to see these honest videos as some are to polished

Brilliant work👍👍 fix the f pace please please
Loving the videos, I'm a retired mechanic and cars were so much simpler back in the old days. Good to see young capable guys on the spanners.

Has the cam sensor code gone now?
@@jrvehicleservices yes it’s been two weeks now the car is all good 👍

Well done on the purchase, will def make some excellent content 🚙
Good one Josh, just shows modern diesel used properly lots of motorway miles not chugging across town getting clogged up
A video of how you started in the trade, to how you came to be where you are now would be great!
Good video, 👍🏼
Another great video Josh, I'm guessing the majority of your work is JLR related, got a 2.2 diesel Disco sport and avoided the Ingenium
ANY content is good content !! - (sound really quiet in the workshop part )👍

Nice video Josh, things are getting worse, no drain plug in the gearbox is a joke, good luck with the jaguar
Thanks 👍
More on electric car repairs would be good for comparison with complex diesel engine repairs.
Noted. We don't do LOADS but we have one coming up

The later ones have a cover to stop it going into the timing belt!
@@jrvehicleservices cheers Josh 👍, this one is 2005 with 208'000 miles on.
Just subscribed. Be careful of hoodie cords. They can kill.
That Jag was at my local LR specialist - small world! :-)
Eastbourne way?
Bexhill!
When someone changed the clutch they must have forgot to put the oil in the gearbox? 😂
Enjoyed it mate

With all them cars, how many staff work in the shop?
There's 3 techs, one in the reception and me (I never get a full day on the tools!)

Why would anybody buy a manual F Pace?
Cause we're stupid 🤣
I think they call um XF! F type is a 2 seater. Pace is tall. (I was wondering how a 2 seater was going to work as a runabout - with a smile I expect)
@@jrvehicleservices I meant in the first place🤣. Surprised JLR even offered manual in any of its range.?
At Least the piss poor reliability of ingenium engines keeps your business ticking over nicely 😅
