No it is not near the royal palace. There are lots of cool restaurants and bars in russian market but bkk1 is good too because of bassac lane

I can’t really think of accommodation. You could check booking .com or Agoda. You can probably find places for $20 a night

2 grand would be good. A good rule of thumb is like a thousand per month. But you might spend a bit more going out and seeing stuff
