This was so helpful! What a fun way to save a garment. Now I’m off to go find my favorite stained sweater!

Useful and inspiring! Thank you ❤
    Colours great addition to garment.
Now reflecting on how to apply to my monotone sweater, without having location of stain stitches draw attention. Definitely requires a more subtle colour-approach.
I love the garment, just not the stains. It'll be fun to repair it, to use with confidence 😉

You inspire me. I have been mending socks, and I reverse directions on the duplicate stitch to save weaving in ends. Sometimes my eyes play tricks on me, and I have no idea where to take the next stitch. I admit that some of the stitches are really worn and matted, though.

That's such a good idea to reverse stitch! I also get lost when I have been darning for a long time, it happens to all of us! :)

Great video! It's coming into Winter here in Australia and this will help me to mend my woolen jumpers, ready for another cold season!

Is there any way to do this duplicate stitch on the other side of the knit? I have a black jumper that has the purls outside and I wanted to draw something with double stitching.

Yes! You absolutely can, it is the same process, following the yarn in the same way. I have been asked to do a video on this and I hope to soon! ☺️
