Apparently Ivo is the first to call Superman the man of steel in this universe. Not to mention that Deathstroke losing his eye is due to Livewire, clearly wanting payback for what happened during their last fight. All of this was due to Amanda Waller deliberately shutting down the cameras in Livewire's cell, giving Livewire the chance to escape, free Ivo and the other villains, and make Sam Lane look bad. All of this is Amanda Waller's fault. The only upside is that Superman managed to escape.
Everything wrong in the DC universe is because of Amanda Waller.

She is willing to kill innocent people to get what she wants.
She is even will blow up half the world in order to keep her country safe.

This is what happens when you can’t control your assets, especially when one of them begins to develop NATURAL meta abilities on her own! That, and the fact that Slade ended losing his RIGHT EYE in this altercation from within this variation of the Superman animated universe over here.
Well they only lost control because Waller created this situation on purpose in the hope it kills Superman after the General refused to give an kill order.

It's funny because in the comics Amanda Waller has always avoided recruiting Livewire, precisely because her powers would make her too difficult to control.
Livewire can now use her powers without the harness, and Parasite is becoming more power hungry and monstrous. These villains are slowly evolving into their more iconic appearances. I won’t be surprised if Livewire’s skin bleaches white eventually.
And that Parasite gets more fleshy, and Banshee gets aorr natural sonic screech instead of using her device

Honestly, when it comes to the criminals Livewire is the next most vile after Ivo/Parasite. She essentially does the equivalent of what she did in an attempt to get away from Slade the first time, planting a ridiculous amount of explosives in Metropolis's sewers, now it's just unleashing a Kaiju capable of the same thing.
I like how the series began with the villains having tech based superpowers, only for those to become more natural as the series progressed.
Livewire began the show using bracelets to shoot lighting, and she can do that natural. Even parisite looks less like an anime mecha and is starting to look more organic and monstrous.

It seems like a paradox since they should hate each other per Superman TAS and comic lore, but here it seems like they actually (could) work well together.

My only critique with making these incarnations of Superman's Rogues gallery mostly normal humans using supersuits is that it makes their conscription into Task Force X kind of odd
X could simply just take their tech and give it to their most loyal soldiers but if they were Metahumans, then the risk of forcing superpowered villains into working for them would've made sense cause its difficult to recreate the events that gave them their powers
That was my issue too
They should have just introduced a secret supervillain who recruited all the people Superman fought so they could rule the world kind of like the cancelled Marc Webb film series and The Batman and Justice League
Instead we once again are introduced to, "the guy who thinks he's doing what he thinks is right''
It does raise questions since obviously anyone could use the tech with a little practice. Granted Ivo seems to be the only one who can use the Parasite Suit and Livewire seems to now have electrical powers, but the rest yeah not sure why they are kept around.
I like thé fact they're normal humans sincè we'll probably sée thèm get powers eventually but yeah, they should not have introduced Task Force x thé show is still great but it still bothers me

Yeah, its a similar problem with Young Justice's art style where every character design looks too "clean" and too "military"
And they can't even excuse it with "Comic accurate designs are corny" cause live action superhero content nowadays like Peacemaker have proven that comic accurate designs _can_ work

In Intergang's cell, Kyle looked like he was racked with guilt 😔. Albert seemed to be sympathetic towards him 🤔😔. It's a long shot, but, I think that there's a chance that, since Intergang, Livewire and Heat Wave are now a group, Kyle will try (if not in the season finale, then hopefully in season 2) and follow Superman's example and become a hero, maybe the rest will follow suit 🤔. I say this because TV Tropes says these five villains have sympathetic traits, which is what Ivo is sorely lacking in 🤔. (I also say this because at one point or another, Superman showed nothing but kindness and compassion to them when their lives were in danger or when they were afraid 😰😱🥺😣😔.)
I don't know about that for Livewire. From her first appearance she was willing to blow up the city, and I can't get a grasp on Heatwave but as far as Shibon, Albert and Kyle are concerned, based on how they treat each other, I see them more as Team Rocket type villains. Still thieves, still allow their desire for infamy to take center stage, but not heartless and if push came to shove would do the right thing.

BTW, about Slade's blades: (1) they're sharp beyond sharp -- he actually managed to superficially cut Superman with them! (2) from the way he wielded them at one point, it's clear they can be combined into a Wave Motion Gun!
Slade didn't use swords in the Teen Titans show either, he simply used every known hand to hand combat manuever he could do

Maybe if you watched the show before thinking you had opinions you would know that metahumans just fucking started in this verse and this is all spiraling out of Livewire (with no powers) stealing this Kryptonian shit from General Lane like a few months ago and dumping it on the black market. And they've been real coy with Krypton too so let them fucking cook.
A few things
1. Livewire becoming a Meta Human was a recent event, she and Waller barley discovered her powers about a minute before the breakout, the failsafe for each villain was the collars they wore, beyond that they have nothing to counter Livewire.
2. You assume that they even have tech that can keep Livewire out, if she wants to grab her teammates tech nothing is really gonna stop her.
