If anyone has any ounce of love for the country, please read , "Who are Shudras" by Dr.Ambedkhar. Not only it is an intelligent analysis on Purusha Suktham in Rig Veda, the one that lead to Varna System(Chaturvarnaya) , it is very enlightening too. How and why a hymn mentioned about Varna System in Rig Veda had ultimately become sacred in Hinduism was very well analyzed by the author. It is such shame that our politics are still run on caste , shame on people who doesn't want to educate themselves about caste system . IMHO , who ever wrote that hymn in Rig Veda ultimately wrote the destiny of India ---centuries of slavery to the caste system !! Not only it is an intelligent analysis on Purusha Suktham in Rig Veda, the one that lead to Varna System(Chaturvarnaya) , it is very enlightening too. How and why a hymn mentioned about Varna System in Rig Veda had ultimately become sacred in Hinduism was very well analyzed by the author. @Evolvingpolymath it's not bad. It's their personal choice but the fact is same caste marriages promote casteism and makes it rigid in the society. If a person is really against caste he/she would marry whomever they want regardless of caste. But talking against caste and marrying within their own caste is double standards and hypocrisy.
