We've got a vet check up coming up next month so we won't know for sure until then but I'm thinking around 13 to 15lbs. I'll definitely give you guys an update once I find out! 😊
We and my family have been watching your videos basically once a day to learn more about cavapoos because tomorrow we are getting a 8 week old cavapoo puppy!
That is so exciting, congratulations on your adoption! 😊 You and your family are going to have so many awesome memories with your new puppy! Sophie and I are so happy to hear that you enjoy watching our videos to get ready for your new arrival. Enjoy your new puppy! 💜
Hello Nessa 🙂 Great video! Snuffle mats are Fabulous. You have trained Sophie so well & she certainly loves her life! Dear Sophie's an Absolute Sweetheart ❤
Thank you so much! Snuffle mats are amazing, you wouldn't believe how long it took me to figure out which one I wanted... there were too many options! 😊
I really enjoy your videos. We are future Cavapoo owners here in Florida (first time puppy owners), and expecting ours in sometime in January. We are interested in shampoos, teeth brushing, brushes, traveling, etc. Did you have most of the supplies and prior to Sophie's arrival? Seems overwhelming.
Hi, thanks so much for your lovely comment and congratulations on your future cavapoo adoption! 😊 I am also a first time puppy owner and I remember in the weeks leading up to bringing Sophie home I was also feeling very overwhelmed. It can feel like you need to buy everything for your new puppy. I had the bare essentials for when Sophie arrived like; food and water bowls, a slicker brush and stainless steel comb, a leash, crate, and a harness. Also having some soft treats (we used cut up pieces of hot dogs) and a couple of toys to get you started is a great idea too! Puppy pee pads are also helpful if you want to get a puppy play pen to put down in case they have any accidents. Eventually you'll probably need a few more things like nail clippers, a dog bed, toothbrush/toothpaste but you should be ok with these things to get you started as you get used to having a puppy. You'll start to see as you get comfortable with being a new puppy owner that there might be some things you'll need depending on what you like to do with your puppy and some things you won't use at all. I'll definitely be doing a video of all the essentials you'll need for getting a new puppy and updating what I use with Sophie. I hope this helps get you started and please don't hesitate to send any other questions you may have.
Let us know what you want to see in our next videos and send us any questions you may have! 😊
Can I ask how much the adorable Sophie weighs?
