Thought I'd give this one a view again one thing I've noticed for the first time is the sound that the 168s make, especially when starting! So much for units being boring!!
Love the 68 locos, sound so powerful when they arrive at the station, Chiltern is the best rail operator in my area hands down. their seats and interior makes it so much more enjoyable compared to other operators in my area. probably a silly question but why do they have mismatched locos on the loco hauled trains? i'm thinking cost... probably answered my own question!
Its not their normal coaching stock. They use completely refurbed Mk3 carriages with electric doors. Those in old BR colours were Mk3s with slam doors.

6109river Thank you! :D Not sure really, all that's been released are details about the incident, all I know is that WCR has until the 15th May to make changes to the company so as to allow the suspension to be lifted :)
is the class 67 allowed to do up to 125 if so why replace them with 68's since tey can only do 100 not 125 but im not complaining since the class 68 is my favorite now
At 2:10 the driver of the awaiting train "Hmmnnnn I'll just wait for the incoming train to stop....wait.....yep......they're just getting off............and here we go.......that'll teach em' to be late..................I love my job and the bonus I get for sticking to the clock......what a day".
Yeah but being late incurs heafty fines for the rail company which may not seem like much to people but the cost gets passed down the chain to the consumer plus as someone who lives on the Chiltern Mainline route it wont be long before the next train arrives so people generally dont complain which is y Chiltern Railways always does well in Which opinion polls

The 66 class for freight and the 68 for passengers, my favorites.
Those 68s have a great sound. Like them.

That 121 gets off the mark quickly. Is that because it's mechanical rather than hydraulic (like a Sprinter)?

No, 121020 is preserved at Bodmin and wenford railway. 121034 is now used for driver training on the mainline!
