I miss being young as a twenty-something, the memories are bittersweet. I do remember it as a painful, insecure, and difficult time, but I still miss it. Would I go back and do it all again if I could? Only if I could bring with me everything I've learned after the 20's 😊 I wish I had had more confidence, love for myself, and cared more about the consequences of my actions in those days. I made a lot of mistakes that I regret and will always haunt me. Too bad life doesn't come with an operating manual 🤷♀️

Leslie Jones!! 😂😂 Damn. I laughed at that from start to finish. I related to everything except the head wrap. I used to sleep with my window cracked open in the dead of winter, in my underwear, sheets half off. My ex would wake up shivering, wrapped up in the blankets like a burrito, looking at me like I wasn’t human. 💀💀 My mental health has been at an ATL, and I was watching comedy clip after comedy clip without laughing. I started wondering if I was broken. This was AMAZING.

Ok so I just turned 21💙.... and I’m at a point where I’m legally an adult but still feel like a teen( sometime I forget I’m an adult now).... and I always find myself worrying about my life and how it’s gonna turn out and just worrying in general.... always had to be the perfect kid growing up, grades had to be on point, had to do what I was told, basically I always felt like I had to be who everyone else wanted me to be.... I’m trying to break out of that now and find it very hard as I am used to caring about what others think..... I always hear older people say enjoy your 20’s but I always feel guilty when I ‘enjoy my 20’s’ and don’t listen to what older family members and my parents have to say....ADVICE PLEASE❗️❗️❗️

HONEST OPINION YOU ALL: I'm a smart 24-year-old that has experienced living it up AND cooling it as a respectful young woman. However, I keep hearing grown folks say: "Do what you can to enjoy your twenties" for numerous reasons. WHAT SHOULD I DO??? I wanna have fuuuuun (responsibly) but I don't want to lose myself either...but I feel as if I'm overthinking it because I actually know how to snap back and get it together...any advice?? I'd appreciate it! Thank you!
Trust your gut instinct/response when you internally ask yourself a question, if you can't get a truthful immediate response from yourself in a second or two then you simply don't know enough about what subject matter to act.
Same I just turned 26 and I saved A lot of money ahead and I feel like that’s a better plan because as long as we take care of ourselves mentally and psychically we will look the same in our 30s :) I think we should look forward to our 30s and not overthink our 20s . But who knows maybe when I’m 30 I’ll regret things
I don't think there has to be a requirement that you overdo partying, spend frivolously or live a life of general debauchery. I'd say focus on things that get more difficult with age. Saving money (having an eff you fund so when work is terrible you can quit and support yourself). Travel and focusing on your professional life are things that make your 20s useful to you in your 30s. People start having kids generally in their late 20s and early 30s and being able to enjoy both independently starts getting harder. Not impossible, but just harder. Also friends start getting married etc and time with them gets harder to come by. As far as work goes, get as much possible experience you can get without being a doormat. Find something that you're good at and nurture it. Find professional mentors or bosses that you hold onto. And stop worrying so much about not fitting into a mold of what you should be doing and live your life! Take your nose out of the phone and experience the moments that are fleeting.
