I just started GW2 and have been playin a ranger! im playing longbow/greatsword for the most part atm and enjoy it the most! im looking forward to do some PvP when i get to max and its rly nice to see you CAN play with LB/GW cos when i did some research all pvp builds seemed to be axe/something all melee, and i want to play at least half ranged when i play my RANGER :D
What's up with stucking in walls. I've never experianced that until very recently. I got stuck twice and saw someone else getting stuck within the span of two weeks.
It's just a plastyle decision, you can see in the build page this is a variation of the meta one. The logic is, the meta valkyrie build is mainly for duelist role, while this one is more versatile as roamer. You should always make variations for what suits better your style, don't just blindly follow the meta.

It's not new at all, been happening since the core game lol mostly by ranger lb4 and rev downed state 2 xD
I do really like how your character looks. Is it monk outfit? And also what longbow?
