Michael Jackson and Prince were not even in the same lane. MJ was pop. He really was never all that edgy nor could he really play any instruments. Prince was something above and beyond. The sad part is Rosie's health is failing and she apparently didn't walk away from her music career with much money, so she's struggling...at least the last I heard that was the case.

Prince is a huge sweetheart. I was working security for his show and he apologized when no one else in his space would have. Of course, I had to follow it with a joke based on the event. He looked surprised and then laughed his butt off. Then he walked me to the catering table and offered me anything on it.

I think he’s the best guitar player since Hendrix. He plays multiple instruments. Princes style changed the world. I can’t choose.
Prince and Michael Jackson were low key rivals at one time in the mainstream but they were very different musically. Prince was always pushing boundaries. Check out the Prince songs “Kiss,” “Erotic City,” “Cinnamon Girl” and “P****y Control.” Also, Bat Dance from the second original Batman movie is more of a dance mix but a classic! SO many decades of great music!

Prince wrote this song and gave it to Sinead O'Conner. Her version is pretty damn good and was a huge hit for her. If we're voting between Michael Jackson and Prince then Prince gets my vote by a landslide. Musician/Composer/Singer/Songwriter. Sure MJ could dance but what's that got to do with music? (I’m dying to hear a reaction of Prince performing Live, that’s not the Super Bowl)
Thanx
prince played ALL IN INSTRUMENTS TOO AN AMAZING ARTIST..Michael was talented too but price for me was a whole other level of talent..
Prince was my first crush haha when I was 7.
You should react to his song Adore - best slow drag song ever!
Yes!!!
Prince is a huge sweetheart. I was working security for his show and he apologized when no one else in his space would have. Of course, I had to follow it with a joke based on the event. He looked surprised and then laughed his butt off. Then he walked me to the catering table and offered me anything on it.
Sign of the Times is one of the best songs written!
Yes!
Agree
Alphabet Street...
PRINCE is in a class ALL BY HIMSELF!!
Prince and MJ are both Awesome.
but in their own way.
What's cool is we can like them both and not compare.
Just Enjoy.
You have to watch his super bowl half time performance it was EPIC!
Please play “The Beautiful Ones” from the Prince movie Purple Rain. Prince is amazing and gone too soon . A musical genius.
Nothing could EVER compare with Prince. Always and forever. Thanks for reviewing him!
Prince and MJ are legends. You should react to Prince mpre often!
Y'all got to react to Diamonds and Pearls. It was the song that helped me fall in love with Prince.
Loved Michael but Prince is one of the most unique artists you'll ever hear.
The man in heels, lace, frills, eyeliner and walks into the club and takes your girl. Lol
You know, I have been sitting here thinking MJ or Prince and I am putting way too much energy into this. I don’t think you can compare anyone to MJ. Period. But as a musician..Prince is phenomenal.
That is a Hydraulic piano and is in the back sitting room of Paisley Park. The room just before you enter the sound stage.
Take a listen to Prince's 1999. It was playing millions of times at parties, but it was New Years Eve 1999 that bought it once again to the masses.
Also associated with Prince is Morris Day and the Time. Check them out, too. Thanks.
Listen to Sinead O”Connor’s version of this song because, even though Prince is the man, I like that version much better!
Yes! Prince wrote it, but her voice and arrangement is haunting!
Prince version is more soulful and much better to me.
Chris Cornell’s cover is amazing.
Yeah. Hers was more stark and poignant. This is too fancy and all over the place. The lyrics are lost.
He wrote that song for Sinéad O’Connor and it became her biggest hit. Prince wrote many songs for other famous musicians. He was an incredibly talented song writer, musician and performer. LEGENDARY!!!
"Purple Rain" the album is one of the greatest albums ever produced. This is my opinion. Check the whole thing out and let me know what you think. Not a weak song on it.
Peace, brothers.
Oh soooooo much more Prince for you guys to listen to & love.
Prince, Cream!!
Thank you guys I had not seen this before. I sure hate how he went out .
They all are too good to keep giving up.
I know it is more complex than that.
It is just such a shame, there are too
many of them. Glad we still have them on video.
I request you do let's go crazy or delirious off the purple rain album. Love the Prince reactions...♡
YESSSSSSS! Those songs get u UP ON YO FEET! Same for 1999 (gonna party like it's!).
Purple Rain and Nothing compares 2 u are ok, but listen to these 3 and his earlier albums. PRINCE = PURE GENIUS 😆😆😆
I miss prince. When I found out that he passed, I couldn't hold in the tears
Dang, I surely do miss me some Prince!
Micheal was a performing artist Prince was a performing artist, musician and composer.
Please do "When Doves Cry" by Prince.
I love you two. Prince was a musical genius. He could play every instrument and he was an incredible guitarist. He wrote his own music and many songs for others. Please listen to Chris Cornell's version of Nothing Compares to You.
HEY GUYS LISTEN TO "WHEN DOVES CRY" 💜 PRINCE💜 THE MAN
Prince, the G.O.A.T.! Michael was a singer but Prince was everything. Singer, songwriter, muscian, producer, director!
RIP Prince.
They were both AMAZING PHENOMENAL and can’t compare to one another because they were BOTH the greatest of their times!
