Sorry for the shaky camera! I’ll use a different camera with a better stabilizer! Hope you all enjoyed the video! Keep those questions coming down in the comments!
Regulation spacing for name is 6cm from base of collar to top of the letters For the number it's 6cm from the bottom of the letters to the top of the number
It can definitely end up being more expensive especially if you’re looking for current season kits. It’s only cheaper if you’re buying older jerseys and name sets that are on sale.
@@nutmegcityfc also sometimes the player versions are different, for example the PL patches for the player versions are bigger which is more aesthetically pleasing for me.
I did this before but the longer it started to peel off and maybe i was too hard on it. What is the best temperature? I never used a towel instead using a baking paper
I’ve actually moved on from the towel and started using baking paper too! I start out with medium heat and then slowing increase the heat if needed. Press down for about 15 seconds, let it cool off a bit, and then peel.
I have a question, if I am putting that on the chest and on the other side of the jersey is a name, can it do some damage to the name on the other side?
I am sure even game jerseys they don't really care about mesurements when they prepare them for numbers, names and patchs, for example Messi Argentina shirt during the world cup, the front 10 was more central in some games than in others (it's easy to spot in Argentina jersey thanks to the stripes). The staff guy who prepare the kits have 18 (league games) to 26 (world cup games) shirts to prepare quickly for each game, he will never mesure exactly for each shirt. Also some players wears M some players wear L, XL ... so measurments will be a nightmare and too time consuming for them
Hi love the tutorial of how to do this, I’m doing a sterling name set on a 2016/17 shirt, how ever the first 4 letters came off perfect but the last 4 letter arnt peeling off, any advice would be greatly appreciated
Usually with that you just have to keep adding heat to it, let it cool off and then peel. Repeat as many times necessary until it comes off. If you are using a towel over the name set, maybe use a baking sheet instead. Towel is a bit thick and that’s why I also struggled in this video.
I have had the experience, mostly with old adidas jerseys, that there are edges and fine marks from the iron. That always annoys me. You can only see it against the light, but that is an annoying thing with the iron
Been 2 years idk if you still need it but I'm just gonna answer this for future viewers who have the same problem. You just have to do the same process like ironing the patches for 15-20 seconds.
Yes so pretty much it’s the same process. You want to use the iron and heat up the patch until it starts to come off. It’s also quite a process so you will probably have to heat it up with the iron multiple times. Just like applying a patch, use a towel over the patch and then press down with the iron and keep it there for about 20-30 seconds and see if it peels off while it’s still hot. I’ll probably make a video where I remove patches and name sets in the future!
@@mfdontbeliveme No, for sowed patches you’ll have to cut the strings to detach it from the jersey. However, that will be a much easier process and it won’t leave any glue residue like the iron on patches do. Which I should’ve also mentioned, when you feel off iron on patches, they might leave glue residue. It won’t matter if your plan is to replace the patch, but if you plan on removing the patch and not replace, you’re going to see residue of where the patch used to be.

Amazing toroidal, helped me to perfectly add the Bundesliga patch to um dortmund kit 🔥🔥🔥 10/10
It does work but I wouldn’t recommend doing it as you can just get the club to do it and it can end up being more expensive doing it yourself

@@dal1189 yes I accidentally ordered replica size and ended up applying those to my kid’s shirts haha
i would recommend doing the name and number seperately !!!
Nice! Your page has inspired me to do a bunch of these vids myself! Keep up the awesome work man!
Thanks so much!! I'm glad this has inspired you and I look forward to watching them!
Hi I’m gonna iron on the ucl patch on my city jersey, may I know how does the patches stick on the fabric?

Where do you get name sets from
I have a question, if I am putting that on the chest and on the other side of the jersey is a name, can it do some damage to the name on the other side?
It can which is why I put my iron board inside the shirt so it doesn't mess up the other side.
If you mess up is there any way you can take it off and redo it or are you screwed?
You can probably take it off but there’s no redo. You would have to buy a new set
Where did u buy the name sets? Awesome video btw!!
Thank you!! For this one I got it at Classic Football Shirts!
O certo é usar uma folha de papel ao inves de uma toalha , eu sempre faço assim !
Sim! Eu agora sou uma folha de papel! Este vídeo é um pouco antigo agora. Nos meus novos vídeos eu uso papel
Do numbers peel??)
I am your 500 position subscriber hehe 👏👍
Thank you for subscribing!!!
I love your city shirts. Im a huge city fan myself and i want to heat apply my club world cup badge to my shirt when i get the patch
Does the towel need to be wet? Where is the steam coming from?
I made an updated video! Easier to follow I think and no towel was used. You can find it on my channel
Where can I buy name prints and badges ?
For patches are the player versions bigger? I bought a set of prem patch and no room for racism for my replica jersey

I’ve used baking paper
Did that work@@bradleyhunt23
Where can you buy nummer???

How do you make sure is straight
Hey please make a video of trying to use fabric glue to stick patches that have run out of it's readymade glue🙏
Thank you🤗
I definitely need to make that video!
can you tell me how to make the name set please

Beautiful job! Very time consuming but it looks like an official Champions League shirt!
Thank you! Yes, this one was VERY time consuming, but I have gotten a better at it! Except for the one on my last video 😅😂

I’d suggest using a plain white t shirt instead of baking paper
An excellent suggestion!! Thank you!!
Hi, what happened if the Nike logo silicone (player version) is peel of? The neck crew which not stick? What should i do?
I honestly don’t know about that one! Sorry!
Nice video, i have a question, how can u fix a patch that is slightly coming off? I cant find any answers on youtube or google

The name set took so long because towels don’t conduct heat. Should’ve probably used the baking sheet from the beginning
Yeah that was the last time I used a towel haha
