good old ford 360T they smoked like that from new ,there was an intake heater kit too try and reduce it but was crap .should have a cold start button on the minimec pump .give it throttle before starting an click in for button on the side which gives extra fuel. resets when you go idle. anything past 180hp in these were prone to head gasket issues .the 360 sabre was a legend in unreliability.

Great adapter there, I think the 360 T has larger bowls in the piston crowns than the 380 NA I have three or four 360T pistons hanging around in my shed with good con rods

Hi, I have the exact same engines in my boat, I’m having some overheating issues, I’m told that the cooling system is piped up wrong but it looks exactly like yours, do you have any overheating issues at full throttle?

What was the idle speed of this engine? On the boat we tested the idle speed of engine was 2000 / min. The owner said that it is normal, but in our opinion it is quite big for such engine. BTW: engine was from 1963: Here is the video: th-cam.com/video/rZFX6HYs514/w-d-xo.htmlsi=KPTIW-D_Tg2NJTsp
