I love this channel, and the videos that you make. I was just wondering if you could make a video on *how to deal with injury(mentally). I just got injured for 3 months and i just realise how hard the mental game of being injured is.
I know Sam won’t see this, but thank you so much for your mentality videos I recently 0yed a football (soccer) game, and I missed a chance. One of your videos popped into my head, and I stayed positive. I then scored the very next chance I got. God Bless
I just wanted to say that the concept of this channel is great. I've never seen a channel devoted to practical performance psychology before. Do you have a degree in psychology or performance psychology?
Thank you so much Sam, all of your videos have really helped, especially when I have been faced with tough times during my football career. You’ve helped me understand and gain knowledge on how to improve and deal with these setbacks so that I can face them and continue working hard with a strong mindset ❤
Great great video, there are so many good points in this video but I really agree with the "asking for help" point, a lot of people need to get over the thought that asking for help is a sign of weakness, how can you grow if you don't ask for help? how can you progress in whatever field you are in without the support and knowledge from others? ASK FOR HELP when you can, you won't regret it.
Hey Sam, I really love your channel.. I don't know whether you'll see the comment or not , but if you do.. pls consider reading barefoot coach by paddy Upton the mental conditioning coach behind India Winning the world.. you must read his take on mental toughness.
Embracing silence. For the past few weeks I've noticed I'm almost constantly listening to music. Starting today I'm actually gonna work in silence again like I always did.
Some days you need a rest. Some days you need to just do a little bit to make progress. And some days you go all in. Being mentally tough is knowing how to best conserve and use your energy
Embracing every challenge, setback, failure, bad day etc. Learning to welcome it as a chance to get better or tougher - this is the way.
💪
