My withdrawl symptoms were so bad I was given Ativan once a day for a few days, but that was it. 20 days no booze so far, longest in 10 years. I keep watching videos like this to keep me sober.

My son was treated with benzos all the time by “rehab” type doctors. Astronomical amounts…. Like 5 -2mg Klonopin a day which I would give him 2-3 a day. Very interesting talk about these drugs. I lost my 32 yo son on
Oct 27, 2019. We never could find a good addiction doctor. I’ll keep this info in mind for myself. I started Wellbutrin along with The Sinclair Method (TSM 3 years ago!). I tried so hard to help my son. Wish we’d had found someone like Dr Linde. Starting to listen to you now that I found you thru Katie! Go Katie!

Gabapentin, at 1200mg 3x a day (3600mg), made me suicidal and extremely lethargic. This was prescribed for nerve pain from a spinal cord injury, not for anxiety. Beware.

You can use pregabalin instead of gabapentin. Basically same thing. Hits gaba receptor.

Ría health I decided to make Friday the last time I drink alone on Fridays out with roommate cause I just don’t want to drink by myself anymore. I set a test for last weekend to not drink alone at my parents while dog sitting and I didn’t drink at all . Last time I purchased alcohol 7/1/21 , last drank alone at my house 7/10/21

Nice video. ill share my experience with gabapentin. honestly got me i didnt notice one thing helpful or calming with it.i tried low doses and high doses of it and i was on it daily for about 6 months. infact i think it made my derealisation depersonalization and anxiety worse. i litterally did not feel at all sedated or calm on gabapentin its not for me BUT it works differently for eveyrone right so it could possibly help you
