This was a fun reaction! This is from late September 2019. I gave Tati the Frida Kahlo eyeshadow palette she was using in the video (she’s a big fan of Frida’s). She even gave me a hug when I gave it to her. They’re such genuine people. 😊 There’s actually another (older) Bus Invaders they did where Tati does most of the talking.
The tour vlogs and both bus invaders just make you love these guys not just as musicians but as individuals.
Absolutely. The blogs from 2016 when they had. just signed to Napalm and hadn't really gotten started being successful.
@@j.f.fisher5318 I remember one with just Tati, still in full dreads and mighty angry looking. She was so uncomfortable and tried to look edgy, sort of like a protective shell. Complete 180 degrees to the more recent ones (especially the one with Elizabeth).
I have a few buddies that have opened for them... They have said this band is hilarious when they are comfortable around people
Hey guys! If you want to see more of Tati: Tatiana Shmayluk Best Moments (Jinjer) #1. Tatiana plays acoustic guitar and sings in #1. There is also a #2 and a #3.
Cool reaction video again you two. There is another Bus Invaders with just Tati doing the interview. There is a part that always makes me smile and laugh, and that part is when Tati opens a cabinet and finds a box of Whoppers candy, and she says, "what's that? Woopers? milk chocolate malted balls, it's always about balls" LOL 😆😆😆 she sounds so cute in her accent. What's cool about this one is Roman (guitar/orange hoodie) and Vlad (drums/black hoodie) did most of the bus tour, they usually are reserved because of their lack of English and accent, but they did great. If you go watch earlier Jinjer interviews, you'll always see Eugene (bass) with Tati. Eugene's english is pretty good, but Tati's wasn't at the time, and she was very self conscious about it, plus she is very shy by nature. Now she does solo interviews and her English has improved and she seems more comfortable. Keep up the great reactions Justin and Camila, and as always, stay Metal. 😊🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶🎶

I saw and met them on that '19 Fall US tour in TX. That's the bus they had parked on the side of the venue. I gave Tatiana a Cookie Monster shirt. I shook her hand and had my one arm over her shoulder and the other over Eugen's for photos. I was too shy to ask her for a hug though.

Jinjer did two episodes of Bus Invaders, I'm so glad you did the one that Roman and Vlad did most of the tour! The one with Tati and Eugene was very cool too, but we hardly ever hear from these two!

Glad you guys react to more than just Jinjer's songs. This type of "behind the scenes" stuff is a refreshing addition....
Jinjer made tours since early 2010x. But they wasn't able to rent this kind of touring bus that days. They bought an old minivan instead. So they traveled all around the Europe on this minivan.
Once Eugene said that they are gain the success because they bought that minivan. He even sold the old car, present of his father, to get the money for the minivan. That minivan let them to make tours continiously and gain more and more popularity and experience.
It's like the recipe of the success from Eugene for young bands: if you are poor don't buy last iphones, don't even try to buy the best musical equipment - buy the minivan instead and be free to drive anywhere. Thus you will find much more tiny venues where you could make the gig.
I remember seeing on FB years ago when they crashed one of the vans they had, and were lucky that the band members at the time weren't seriously hurt or killed

Very nice reaction!!! Indeed Jinjer is more than their music!! They are so nice!!! And I'm born in 1968, but II do still remember room raiders!!! It was fun!! It started in 2003...
This Bus Invaders episode probably has more of Roman and Vlad talking than any other video on TH-cam. Both Jinjer episodes are good. They went from the "band vaggen" to an actual bus 😭

I was in the Navy. You adapt quickly to that lifestyle.
Some bands when they have a couple of day breaks will get hotel rooms but otherwise they are on their way to the next place when they aren't following the schedule for the day.
I looked over their schedule and the longest break was 1 day and mostly 3-5 nights in a row in between.
@@j.f.fisher5318 I played the bar circuit for some time. We never had to do much of that. We would play for three nights and then move on. Even then though the accommodations were usually a single or maybe two hotel rooms or a really nasty "band house" where you didn't want to touch anything. You have to love doing it to do it otherwise it's a nightmare. Having said that the headlining bands have a bit easier time and frankly Jinjer by now should be headlining more tours than not but that isn't how it's worked out.
They were basically constantly on tour ever since the conflict broke out in eastern Ukraine, just to make ends meet, from one small gig to the next one. I can't remember which interview it was where they were talking about it in a bit more detail though.
There was another Buss Invaders video with an older buss and Tati did the tour.

If you're a 90s kid you def saw Room Raiders lol. I remember once they had Justin Beiber in it lol. It was so funny cuz they would "kidnap" the people and just throw them in a van 😂😂. That would definitely not go well nowadays lol, you would see a lawsuit or someone would deemed it "inappropriate" lol. Ah 2000s television, I miss it sometimes.

Oh no, you picked the not so good one. There's an earlier earlier episode led by Tati herself. It's much, much better. She's like a mom, criticizing the boys for playing too many video games, she shows her art, she takes you through the entire bus and complains about her veggy mayonnaise.

As you see more of their stuff, Vlad and Roman don't get in front of the camera much. The Vlogs from when they were less successful are cool but also wild.
Strangely I both have no idea what you are talking about with Room Raiders but at the same time it sounds exactly like MTV's later years haha.
Unfortunately so… MTV was great back then, when it was just music all day, including more alternative stuff like metal, instead of just pop music. But then it suddenly was one stupid reality TV show after another and where I live they also lost like half their day of broadcasting, as they then shared the space with another channel, so it basically went totally to shits.
