I have now dynamic damping control failure, in the summer went on and off several times but the front shocks were not working only in the back , now doesn't work anymore I changed acceleration sensor both shocks and still nothing ,I read it says both front shocks are not working
@LMAutoRepairs sorry but I don't know the mechanic read it he said they were both not working , i don't know if the lights level sensor also have something to do with that because I clean them after a few hours start working and then stop I can't use also sport or sport+
I had that problem before it was from the internal wier of the damper satellite The wiers were touching inside the insulation It is because of the bad plastic materials
I have the same problem with my BMW 525D Xdrive. Sometime Dynamic damping control failure pops up saying corner ability restricted. Onl Comfort mode is available. Yesterday it pops up same errors and the car got into emergency mode too with DSC stabilisation error. After turning engine for 10 minutes and restart everything works fine. Today I took a long trip no errors pops up. Today all drive mode works comfort to sport and sport+. Can it be the isolation in the damper satelite? Did you fix your problem by opening the damper satelite and isolate the wire?
@@dinhvanpham8102 hello 👋 My advice is : 1-find a workshop have a scan tool 2-dignos the car and delete fault codes 3-drive the car until the error appear 4-scan the codes again 5-send update on this comment or if you find the problem just fix it * It is a big chance to be the isolation inside the wiers especially in the rear side between the chassis and the shock absorber. Good luck 🤞
One question: if we reset it by take out the fuse f106, and even take out at the same time the module, we do while the car is stopped with no ignition on??? Or is it necearry to start the enigne and do it?
If what you mean os to reset codes, no... the codes are stored on a non volatile memory... cutting the power to the module will no get rid of codes... reset, there's reset procedures performed by the scan tools, which send a command to the module to reset... You can try that, but I think the fact that you have issues when wet, the reset will not fix anything...
Mine, the same.. especially get the VDM when driving in rains. But the next morning, it disappear and all system ok/good condition/no faults. Once i drive through one slope, it show VDM. And the next day no fault again. Like yours, the fuse is reseting overnight :P
Check wiring etc... Is everything OK, could the the shock that is failing... This one interestingly never came back... as least that I was made aware of... 👍👍👍
@@LMAutoRepairs as usual, it faults when running in big rain…. Show EDC, but a try to push sport, it still sign on the screen :) … let it be until the next day.. it disappears :P
@@LMAutoRepairs yes. I check the stateline to cover it more plastic at wire for watching next times. Check the right back of the car: no water leak. The fuse f106 surely no blown up… electric no water… the module is ok with the previous nylon bag out side :D …. Updating later
Check @mothanagharbe513 comments, he said the isolation on the wires between the chassis and the shock absorber Check and isolate the wires.. I have the same problem on my car. Running diagnostic VDM says front left satelite failed. Status failed on all 4 EDC. Delete fault codes and the car runs okay and i can choose comfort, sport and sport+ until the next time the error pops up. It is raining a lot, i have to waite for a sunny day. I will update.
You will get a lot of weird errors when you have problem with your level sensors. Just run diagnostic and erase them. Do a complete service on your snsors and your sensors and your car will be happy and you will be happy.
Take a look on my ansvers for Tungzin. BMW cars have a lot of electronic sensors. They are very sensible for error like rust on the level sensors. I suppose your car has EDC shock absorbers and air suspention. The level sensors are used to level your car in all wheels so the your lights works perfect. Overtime the level sensors get tucked and do not move easily up and down after the road. The normal error is Dynamic damping control failure. Corner ability restricted. Saft and dust is the enemy of the level sensors. I recommand you to do a total clean service removing all dust, saft, rust. Lubricate the balljoints with wateresistant oil. Good luck:-))
Fault description on those bmw's is always so weird. For example why wouldn't the VDM just say "no communication" like vag cars? Instead saying something about some status...like wtf😂
One of the better investments Luis. The resetable fuses. Together with a relay kit. As always , nice video.
☺️
👍👍👍
Where i can find those resetteble fuses kit?
Ebay and alike... for example...
👍👍👍
Or you can just use a test light across the fuse😀
Lucky cheap fix is better than an expensive mistake! Trial and error, plus the simple reset can work wonders.
Indeed!

You need to scan the car and understand what the issue might be...
Otherwise, it is guesswork...
@LMAutoRepairs hi again , does this code say something to you 482941?
@rubengalvao856
That seems to refer to some sort of sensor...
I had that problem before it was from the internal wier of the damper satellite
The wiers were touching inside the insulation
It is because of the bad plastic materials
Will keep that in mind...

what was localization of that? rear satelites ? connection box of rear satelites ? wire in connection box?

i got same problem in my BMW X6 , its burning the fuse i try up to 10A, burned at the moment of plug always. Could someone help to find the reason ?
Follow the circuit...
If the fuse blows then you should be able to easily find the culprit circuit...

@tungzin
That pretty much means water is getting somewhere it shouldn't...
A damaged wire, a poor connection...
You need to inspect everything...
