It's ridiculously over-engineered David, when simple LED strips would have done a better job. But we’re nearly there, only a few more issues to go. And yes, I agree, it will look good 😊
4 months is absurd. My issue 6 is delayed and despite paying for it, I have no estimated time of delivery. I know they keep promising that we will be able to finish this but I’m having my doubts based on the absurd wait times
Its definitely a build of patience Rob, but it'll be worth it in the end. Trust me, wait til you get the top skeletal section done, you won't be able to stop smiling
I’m excited to get to that point. Patience is generally not the issue (I build 1/350 refit models on the regular)….I guess it’s the Eaglemoss fate that has me concerned. I don’t want to have a partially completed hull and tons of money invested just for Fanhome to be 🤷🏻♂️.
@@Robman0908 I'm so undecided on whether to start this subscription or not, hearing about all the delays, and knowing Fanhome is about to close the window to start this model, I'm really concerned about them being able to fulfill and ship all the required parts for late comers into this project, I haven't seen a single person finish the Enterprise D. I wish there was a way to guarantee to new subscribers that Fanhome will honor all subscriptions until the very end, the delays are very discouraging, do they have enough parts to finish all the open subscriptions?
Fanhome support told me its a lotto system, when I asked them why I was waiting 4 months for issue 24 while others were getting 25, 26+ with no problem. They said names are randomly chosen and shipments are put on hold. Tha’s what they told me.
@@dansmodeluniverse I’ve seen examples on the Facebook group of people waiting for issue 10 but getting issue 11 in the meantime,I’ve just asked fanhome again about issue 23 and getting the same dribble of missing parts and they can’t send the next issue until I’ve had 23 etc etc I don’t think they really know what they are doing
@@Makeitso2023 They've shipped pack 3 of the DeLorean to me, but I'm now waiting over 2 months for Pack 2. So that explanation (that I’ve heard them say before) that they ‘can't ship pack x before pack y’ is just an excuse. They told me they can’t change their system generating the monthly shipments, which is total nonsense.

I'm not shure about this, I think the model will look a bit like a "solved puzzle" with all these gaps and uneven surfaces.
