Haven't tried the pumpkin pie muffins yet but the blueberry and chocolate chip ones are absolutely amazing. Finding your channel was probably the best thing during my diet and I can keep using these recipes even when I'm not in a deficit.

Haven't got around to making any of the muffins yet, so I'll definitely be doing those. Also, I know Nick basically just did a 16 minute ad for his cookbook, but it ain't no joke. It's the best high-protein / low-calorie cookbook out there. Baked goods, ice creams, pizzas, all are next level.
Not being overweight in and of itself is probably the biggest health win there is, however this approach of squeezing as many unhealthy foods into a healthy calory limit as possible deserves to be questioned. Things like glutein, deli meats should be avoided and there's at least a discussion to be had about the saturated fats in cheese. I recommend you check out Thomas Delauer's channel, he provides a lot of insights into how nutrition can be optimised.
Hi Nick. Any tips if I wanted to adjust the muffin recipe to Oreo/cheesecake? Was thinking maybe swap out the protein powder for an Oreo/chocolate/ vanilla/unflavored variety and add some black cocoa powder. Not sure how feasible it’d be, but any tips are appreciated. Or if you’re looking for your next banger, who knows. Maybe this is it?
The pumpkin cheesecake muffins popped off man made them yesterday, also i swapped about 40 grams worth of AP flour for high gluten flour on your pumpkin muffin recipe and made the best pumpkin bread with it, highly recommend
Hey bro, love the vids. Any time I see you posted a new video I get excited and can’t wait to watch. Random question but what’s your insight on some food items like low cal tortillas. The nutrition label will show something like 70 cal per tortilla but If you add up all the macros it adds up to like 190 cal per tortilla. I guess I’m a little confused on the fiber/carb math when it comes to adding up the macros. Keep up the awesome work!
yeah, if it is only about calories, you can eat what you want as long as you are still able to maintain the deficit. there is food that is more inviting to being over-eaten than other options, but if you have willpower, you can still manage it. in my experience, going overboard with fastfood doesn't help because you have to compromise on portion size in order to get into a deficit and the fast-food portions you can eat are too small so that gradually, your hunger will increase too much. most of the time, one should stick to high-volume food, otherwise the likelihood of failure is too high.
12:38 how can a cheese person say such stuff?! Gruyere is one of humanity's greatest inventions (Although it's not a typical swiss). Apart from low fat and no fat pseudo cheese garbage, the only one I really disliked was Limburger. All smell with zero taste. I even recreated the Limburger sandwich, with some great fresh rye bread, dijon from maile and thick sliced red onion, and basically mustard and onion completely masked the taste of cheese. Hard to believe that something that smells so much can have such weak taste
