I have a lot of hope for Codie, because in addition to this deck tech, I've seen a cedh build for him as a turbo Ad Nauseam commander! The deck idea I've been kicking around is to use Enter the Infinite with Hypergenesis, but I don't have the details worked out just yet

Anyways so with Codie how exactly does it work I mean wouldn't you have to get him back into the command zone by either killing him or bouncing him to hand or something? @@dr-_-squirtz4255 Nah, just packing for my move tomorrow. Codie doesn't really ever need to be killed or bounced. The idea behind this deck is to load the deck with lots of permanents that we can't cast once Codie is on the board. Instead, we have a handful of high mana value sorceries that can get us a huge number of them out all at once. Or that can totally whiff. That's why I call this an RNG deck. The first thing we want to do is get as many of those permanents down on the table as we can before casting Codie, especially the ramp creatures and token generators. Having a haste enabler would be good, too, so we can use Codie the turn it comes out. Next, we want to tap Codie as a 5 color mana dork in order to cast one of our high mana value sorceries. The higher the mana value the better, because Codie is going to do a pseudo-cascade into another sorcery. At this point, we're at the mercy of RNG. You might land Ruinous Ultimatum and take over the game, or you might land Genesis Wave and have to cast it for x=0 and get nothing from it. Think of the deck like a slot machine or a loot box. Everything else in the deck is tertiary. Those two things I went over are the meat of the playstyle, and the rest of the cards are there to make the deck run smoother or to stop your opponents from winning. The goal when I created this deck wasn't to win every game, but instead to have no two wins feel the same.

But thank you for the going into full detail on how it works. I really hope your move goes well. Can't wait to hear how it went. I really think its cool how your doing these deck techs with so much passion and each one more often than not has a story to it. I have a few commander decks well more like all commander and 1 modern infect thats not the greatest. But I guess I would consider my commander decks jank like u call some or all of these. My black white life gain deck is the strongest 1 I have commander is Karlov. Im no where even remotely good at building decks. If I have to subscribe to your patreon just to be able to get you to check them out I will. I really love what your doing and watched all of your videos you have. Off record I like your deck techs alot I have alot of them saved so I can go through and then build them. My first is actually going to be blim, comedic genius not just because the deck is amazing at what it does but because of how much heart you put into the videos second will probably be codie
