I never got why people got physical copies of albums when everything works digitally as well today. I now do. I want to own the physical copy of this. This will be the first album in a long time I am going to buy. Oh and yes, it seems the final Touhou track we get is in fact Bad Apple!! Hype pretty much uncontainable by now.

I rarely listen to anything other than .mp3 files, which is kinda sad if you think about it

The PC-98 version does have a certain level of charm, I agree, but IMO I never really liked the sound of the PC-98. For what it's worth it's still one of my favorite PC-98 Touhou songs. For that matter, I wish we'd see a few more remixes of the older PC-98 songs, a lot of them are really good tunes, just brought down some by relatively short loops and the older PC-98 sound I'm not a fan of. A good remix artist could really do some real nice work with them. and I'm sad they haven't been as well explored as the TH6+ songs.

I was hyped for this album, and then I saw the last song and I lost my shit. Hearing CristinaVee do this song again brought great joy to me, its amazing how far she's come after all these years. I need to buy this album the first chance I get.
I want to return back to this album out of respect: This was what got me into Touhou nearly 4 years ago. Was on a run, had actually heard songs from this album a few times not knowing what they were from, but the absolute banger that is Nuclear Fusion finally piqued my interest enough for me to see what these songs were from. From there I played the game starting with PCB, and by that point I was hooked. It's ironic that Okuu ended up being both my favorite character from the series and also the theme that got me into Touhou in the first place.
Just discovered for myself, that Bad Apple!! turns out to be an excellent depression metaphor. Feelings of resentment, slowly, but steadily encasing the person's mind until one can no longer break free, apathy, mental suffering and eventual inability to communicate about it...

With physical copy you also have better, lossless audio quality, and not poor mp3. Lucky you if you don't hear the difference.
