You really seem to nail the mix between keeping it short and simple but getting a bunch of information across at the same time. I've seen a number of your tutorials now and I've learned so much from each one. Well done.

Love your videos, trying to switch from the adobe suite. Could you do a shattered glass tutorial? How to make it look like the video you're watching shatters like glass and reveals the next video? That would be amazing!

It looks best when you got an object in the first shot you can wipe with, preferably not with a perfectly vertical line (if its perfectly vertical line, it looks like wiping with a rectangular second shot only, not with and object). An additional object in the second can help but may look even better without, depending on a scene.

Thanks so much for the tutorials! Question: I'd like to create a set of wipes using icon's of SF. For example using the TransAmerica building as the object that bridges 2 unrelated clips. Is there a way to build, or how would you save, the mask (created in fusion to isolate the icon) so I can just drop the icon as a transition in future projects as opposed to re-creating the masked image every time I'd like to use it? Thanks for all your help!

arrow forward once to get "Analog app 1 TE" like he uses in the video or simply find one you'd like to use alternatively instead.

  • @Leprutz

I am having a huge problem and nothing on the net nor no one on youtube wants to actually only explain how some tools work. Now I have a problem with the curve tool. The curve tool seems to have different ways or working. I have two different prjects and in one project I can use the curve tool of the powerwindow, the symbol of a pen is visible and I can draw lines to mask something out.
In the next project though, under the pen symbol there is a minus visible and I cannot draw any lines. And I do not know where I can change the ability of the curve tool or any tool like rectangle and circles in the powerwindows. why is that. I need urgent help please.
