In my personal view Alcazar 2nd Top Model (Platinum) has it all. Its a great value for money. XUV700(AX5) is just over-hyped. Just imagine AX5 costs you around 20-21L and what you get
1. Leather Seats- NO
2. Push Start/Stop- NO (starting a 21L car with Key :D)
3. No Cruise Mode
4. Manual Driver Seat adjustment.
5. Camera- NO
6. Remote start- No
7. Manual AC Knob as in Maruti Small cars.
8. Not soo good JBL Speakers
9. 1Y waiting period (seems marketing policy)
10. Only 2 AIRBAGS
Whereas Alcazar, with same price range is feature Loaded.
1. 360 Camera
2. Bose Speakers
3. Cruise Mode
4. Electronic Adjustable Seats
5. Air Purifier.
6. Leather Seats
7. Remote start/off

However Alcazar gives you a little less power/torque as compared to XUV700 and here the later is leading, but unless you do not want to race but just need a smooth drive with family with enough power ALCAZAR is the best option. Still XUV700 if are planning, only go for top variant- AX7 and the on road touches 24-25L. High traffic is now common and also on Highways we have speed cams so 100-120/130 Alcazar will not disappoint you.
Again, this is as per my research. XUV700 owners please do not feel offended.

Fully agreed. Even I am planning to buy alcazar and thought about XUV too but when I saw the features of Alcazar & after sales service of Hyundai it makes me bias towards buying Alcazar.
XUV 700 is overhyped, there's no point of buying XUV if you have a budget within 20 Lakhs.

Driven my Grand i10 Asta 1 lakh kms in 2 years. Changed clutch plates and tyres at 90k km. Other than that no tension till today. Complete hassle free experience. Only drawback is very poor ground clearance.
I've Elite i20 Asta 2017 60000 km in 4 years. everything seems fine and smooth. all tires need to change.

Mere town ke withing 20 km me Maruti ke 3 service centre available hai, Tata ka ek service centre available hai wo bhi chota sa, upar se cars available nehi hota hai.
Isi liye mujhe mere budget ke according maruti pe hi jana pada.

This vehicle is not even close to XUV 700 and safari in terms of performance and price is almost comes in same bracket.
But it’s practical, up to date, reliable, gives high average, has great after sales service.
And tata and Mahindras are not even close to Hyundais reliability and after sales service
Mahindra MHawk is more reliable but in terms of after sales Hyundai is best.

Yes I agree regarding Tata after sales services is really very bad, I am from Bhopal I bought Tata Nexon in 2018 ,after two years the show room from where I purchased the car is closed and now there is only one show room in Bhopal left that's with a very long que I have to return twice without getting any servicing so please think twice before buying tata veicle

I always feel that this channel is always extra harsh when it comes to judging Hyundai cars. I do agree that Hyundai cars seem overpriced but in the end the hassle free ownership still makes it worth it over other cars from Tata , Mahindra. Just my opinion.

1. This channel has always supported Safety and Value for money aspect.
2. Koreans are notorious when comes to safety. They have double standards. They dilute global platform heavily to make profitable in India since they know that majority of Indians prefer features and mileage over safety.
3. Hyundai does provide wide service network however its still not hassle free as the servicing cost is not cheap.
4. If your majority of drive is in City and requires feature loaded car with relatively early delivery then only go for Alcazar.
You are right of late we all feel Hyundai Cars are far too over priced against their safety aspect. But Hyundai offers you loaded features & Excellent After-Sales Services among competition.
Maybe they are aware of our buying patterns & weakness of the competition. Of late their Service Cost also have gone up & no more in the affordable range.
Tata are just the opposite they offer the worst Ownership experiences with pathetic Customer & After-Sales Services as I have suffered with Tata cars in the past. Though must admit their Cars offering have improved but they lack in World Class Engine Refinements, Customer & After Sales Servicing.
With Cars in India & our traffic conditions everyday After-Sales Servicing is more important than buying a Car. Engine is the heart of any Car & After-Sales Services is the hospital Care which keeps the Car healthy & road worthy.

Tata is one of worst in terms of after sales service. I had seen my neighbour suffer whole month for a faulty wiring change for a 2 months old Tata Altroz. I was planning for Nexon but now I will buy kia Sonet.
tata gives gifts even on tweets, they're just building brand loyalty but product & service also needs to improve not by bribing people of free gifts, you'll only get opportunistic customers😂

Even I thought its overpriced ! But then I saw Carens which is almost 2 lakhs cheaper than alcazar and more spacious. Just do one test, open and close alcazar door and carans door. The heaviness of alcazar will immediately give you the reason of higher price. Plus it has panaromic sunroof, 360 camera, lane assist, hold fucntion and a great digital cluster.
