But idk it's just a theory

You shouldn't take it as a personal attack on your mother's cheesecake.

The ‘a’ should sound clear and open from the throat. Like when they doctor tell you to say aaahh but short ofcourse. It sounded like she said wrigoitah instead of ricotta. It should sound somewhat similar to Terracotta.

I mean, he was right: the recipe was very savory, the cream was definitely a cheese cream and the oat biscuit base was tasty. The fruit topping and the fresh fruit did mix really well, and the black pepper was a nice touch. Although I would have used cherries and chili flakes

@Nicolaus Volentius who said it wasn't a sweet cheesecake. It was a parm cheesecake but obviously Parmigiano wasn't the exclusive cheese used in it. I've also had ice cream with a crack of pepper on it, and other dessert items where it's used to contrast with the sweet. It's not an unusual thing, any moreso than having red chili/spicy included in a sweet item.

He’s talking about ricotta the ‘c’ is pronounced as ‘k’. The ‘r’ in Italian has more of a roll too.
And the ‘o’ is more a short ‘o’ similar to stop. The ‘a’ should sound clear and open from the throat. Like when they doctor tell you to say aaahh but short ofcourse.
It sounded like she said wrigoitah instead of ricotta. It should sound somewhat similar to Terracotta.

I mean, he was right: the recipe was very savory, the cream was definitely a cheese cream and the oat biscuit base was tasty. The fruit topping and the fresh fruit did mix really well, and the black pepper was a nice touch. Although I would have used cherries and chili flakes

I've also had ice cream with a crack of pepper on it, and other dessert items where it's used to contrast with the sweet. It's not an unusual thing, any moreso than having red chili/spicy included in a sweet item.
