What gets me with some of these vids is that the homeowners take so much time going back and forth with the suspects. I would immediately contact the police first if I feel something is off then toy with them to hold them up as long as possible. They give them too much time before they contact the police. If they target you once they’ll target you twice if they know that you’re not willing to contact the police.

I was a new mom, with a 13 week old baby girl, 1974. My husband just left for work at 11:30pm, he was a policeman. We lived out in the country, no street lights, no 911 back then. At midnight a black man knocked on the front door “selling encyclopaedias”. It was a half glass door and we could see each other. I did not open the door of course, and he tried the handle. I told him to go away. I got my husband’s off duty gun and called the police. I heard my two large dogs in the basement going crazy, the man kicked in a basement window and was trying to climb in. I went down there and pointed the gun at him, he told me I didn’t need the gun….yeah right!
He still tried to climb down, but the dogs and my gun scared him away. He was arrested farther down the road breaking into another house. He was high as a kite, and a convicted rapist.
The police response time was almost 10 minutes, since we were so far out of the way. Thank goodness I was armed, and had dogs.

@@qutanyaWoods-wm6vv - I’m far from being a racist. You have to realize the situation and where it happened. I lived far out in the country, the area was basically all white. Having a man….any man…..come to your front door at midnight would be unusual, having it be a black man in an all white area was totally unusual. When you give a description of an alleged criminal……race is probably the most important and first detail you provide. He was a black man who was a criminal, he wasn’t a criminal because he was a black man. Know the difference.
PS We have 4 bi-racial grandchildren, who are fabulous human beings, whom we are extremely proud of. No one said all blacks are that way. I do not make generalizations.

Undercover agents do not have to show theirs, unless they actually state they are PD/FBI/CIA/AFT etc. (Because once theu identify themselves as such, there cover is broken thus they fall under normal regulations by federal laws.)

My advice if you see a person or people on your doorbell Camera or Security Camera with bad intentions, is to grab your firearms and silencer, DON'T call the cops, then proceed to delete that human garbage with extreme prejudice!

@gypsyqueenenigma385 You should have a gun anyway! The criminals breaking in will probably have guns, because they obviously don't care about Laws! Only ignorant fools live life unprotected!

This is terrible advice. At least in the US. You're allowed to stand your ground in most states but what you describe is considered murder, legally speaking. You would go to jail for the rest of your life. Stand your ground is only permitted if your life is in IMMINENT danger.

With shortages in officers nationwide this tends to happen. Just another reason for you to learn how to defend yourself. 😉
