I use to sing this to my son when he was 4 years old before bed... now he’s gone at 25 years old. I cry hearing this.

I’m so sorry for your lost my mom and dad and I miss them. There are times I’m thinking I’d rather be with them. One day you’ll see each other. May the Lord give you strength till it’s time for you to meet him. GOD BLESS
This was one of my dad's favorite songs, including mine. My dad died on February 12th of last year, just two days after this was uploaded, and yet several days after Christopher Plummer passed away too. I don't know why but I hope wherever they both are, maybe they crossed paths and said hello. I lost my dad suddenly, and I vividly remember crying in my bed listening to this song. It soothed me but I still felt sad as one would do. Edelweiss has became my favorite flower by far.

My mum passed away last year and was from Austria.i chose this song at her funeral. Absolutely gorgeous song.as the lyrics say.bloom and grow forever
My 13 month old granddaughter absolutely loves music and this song happens to be her favorite lullaby. I found an hour long Japanese group that does a piano arrangement in every key. I works like a charm. She actually takes her little finger as though she is conducting and drifts off to sleep. She comes from a musically inclined family. I just found this and I cannot wait to share with my daughter and son in law. Our baby girl is going to be so happy. Thank you.

My Grandma would always sing it to her grandkids when we were younger when we were crying and she sang this to us to try to get us to stop crying. Everybody made fun of her for doing it because it didn't work. My grandma passed away 6 days ago and I found out she sang this to us at her funeral. it's my new favorite song and I miss her dearly.
