    The common thread among all these murder cases is that there's a lot of shoddy police work out there. While I'm sure there are many detectives who do a great job, this doesn't exactly instill confidence in their crime solving as a whole.

    • @yarnpower
      @yarnpower 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Here in the U.S., many police departments will not hire an applicant that scores very well on the written exam. Their theory is that a really smart person will grow bored and leave after a few years. So the pool of cops that detectives are drawn from are not the smartest they could be.

    Terribly sad case. In my humble opinion any parent who who would murder the other and essentially deprive their own child of the love and support of that parent is NOT a good parent. And this woman not only inflicted the pain of losing their father on her own children, but losing two grandparents as well. Absolutely reprehensible! She should never see the light of day as a free woman again. Those children are better off without her raising them.

      All people should be somehow evaluated before having children to determine what could happen should things head south. I believe that it is only fitting. Why should we think that people should have children without deciding whether they are fit before the judge, who is not a psychologist, tells us? Hahaha. Can we say that we are all born free just because we wish to believe that we are? Sure, I'm concerned about government overreach, but I'd rather worry about this before and not after the fact. I am a non-custodial parent only because I sought to tell the truth. Had I money and taken the route of being willing to lie, I would have possibly had a life worth living. As things stand, I have nothing, and it's not likely that I'll ever see my granddaughter again. I'm working to disown my son because there seems no way out of this hell otherwise. He's been completely brainwashed, and his wife is in on the hustle.

    I will never understand why people keep their children from having a relationship with the parents of an estranged spouse. Unless there is actual reason to do so ofc. Children need to know there are other people that love them, not just their parents or immediate family, like siblings. This is like hating the parents of an ex just because you broke up.
    I had a not so fantastic break up with an ex bf a few years ago, we were both in the wrong in a lot of things when we decided to separate. His parents always liked me and I liked them. When we broke up, they said I could always still come to them with anything and wanted to keep in touch. After all, it wasn't their parents that I broke up with. We still talk from time to time and it's never about their son, it's a completely separate relationship. They know I care about him in a way that he's a big part of my history so they would tell me if something major was happening, but otherwise we don't talk about him. They had no reason to keep in touch with me - according to their son I was the one who broke his heart. But they never even asked me about it, they knew it wasn't a good idea to take sides and that both sides probably had cause to be upset with one another.
    If we can do that then why the h*** can't people that share children? It's like robbing a child a big part of their identity and support circle. It's just so mind boggling. You don't have to be buddy-buddy, but just civil. Like you have to at work with people you may not particularly get along with. It's just a part of life and with kids you can't be selfish. My grandparents aren't on this earth anymore and I was lucky to grow up with them in my life. I'd be heart broken if any of them had passed before I got a chance to know them and have them know me.

    • @jcjcviews
      @jcjcviews 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My experience has been the same, bad. From my experience, the system uses the women's sense of entitlement to the children and manipulates public sentiments about what goes on. Those who control the system, which pays well, defends and lobby to perpetuate the system. In general, some kind of jury (to directly represent the public) should always be involved in such matters and the people in a more general sense. Otherwise, we will have a corrupt system. The assumption of secrecy when children are too young to know any better should not be allowed. As things stand, there is no law against causing Parental Alienation Syndrome, which is what my son and I have to suffer for the entirety of our lives unless something is done by force of law. Judges and lawyers should have no place in trying to profit from the average person in such matters. In cases where those with material possessions cannot agree about the proceeds, those with expertise in such cases should be requested.

      How lovely & judgemental of you to berate people who don't get on after a relationship. With an ex boyfriend, I got on with his parents after the b/up but we lived in 2 diff cities many hours away so after a few yrs we lost touch. This was easy because there were no children involved.
      If you are married to a narcissist & have children then thatz a diff. situation!
      I didn't realise how crumbled my self worth was after being with my ex husband for 9 yrs. After the split I kept an open home for him & his mother (who lived in a diff. country). I used to cook him meals & packed lunches after he got himself a flat. I was blindsided by how litigious he was & with his mummy's money they planned to have me legally out of the picture. She wanted to raise our daughter with him & isolate me. It took years & a tonne of legal battles but I eventually won full custody & had saved enough to buy him out of our house which he hated because he wanted to see me poor. He didn't care about our daughter's welfare he wanted to have power. His mother I realised too late...was a complete racist.
      I got strong for our daughter - she is studying now at 22- & I own a 4 bedroom hm, that although I still have a mortgage...it has gone up in value.
      I've never spoken to my ex since our girl was 14yrs old. Our daughter had a good relationship with him until she turned 16 & he started a new family.
      She has kept in contact with him but he barely answers her emails or messages...he never told her about his new life initially...& never consulted her when he moved to a different country.
      It is sickening how much money went to lawyers for child custody & house settlement ...I wanted to talk things out & come up with solutions...but he was wanting to fight.
      I come from a big family so our daughter has a tonne of relatives who love her.
      My ex comes from only child parents so family's not important but materialism is. His mother died of cancer full of hate & resentment...& she raised an angry man child.

      @@mymai2792 I said if I with them could do it, then people with children should be able to - "Unless there is actual reason to do so ofc." That's a direct quote of my post.
      I understand every situation is different and I'm sorry you had such a difficult time with your ex and his mum. I've also been in a situation where my partners parents were not good to be around and it's not an easy situation to be in. Surely I was relieved to be out of it. It was the silver lining when that relationship ended - at least I never had to go near those people again.
      Not every parent or grandparent is a good influence and therefore shouldn't always be a part of a child's life or the other parent's life. But there are just too many cases where a bitter separation ends up with alienated grandparents who would in fact be a wonderful addition to a child's life. I don't think it necessarily takes a village - but it sure is easier that way.
      I wish you and your daughter all the best in life and a happy upcoming holiday season whatever way you celebrate.

    The sad truth is, if the person is good enough for you to have kids with (willingly) then they're good enough to be a part of your kid's lives (barring actual abuse toward the kids.) And did either of these people ever stop to wonder what killing the loved ones of their children would do to those children psychologically? I mean, just because they didn't care if the father or grandparents were on the planet, didn't mean that their children didn't care. You don't get to decide who your kids love, first of all. And secondly, now those kids have to grow up with the knowledge that these family members were killed, basically, because of them. Like, how do those children cope with that? And (speaking as a person who has children and is divorced) Jiminy Crickets, it's only 18 years and then you only have to see those ex-inlaws at weddings!!!

    • @jcjcviews
      @jcjcviews 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'd be interested to know, and wouldn't you, more about the mother. I wonder the extent to which whoever acted as the mother's parents are the cause of her killer behavior. I also wonder whether women, who are perceived as the model parent, are the only parent. Other family members, such as the grandparents, the father included, have no direct claim to the children, which I think could be a bad idea. No one person should feel that another person is their property. Yet, everyone seems to know that a singular woman is the one who is given the power of life or death to "our" children. So, it is in this way that the State already owns our children more than we do. We are just not aware of it.

    I am sorry - I have to correct English! 'The couple were married' not 'was married'.
