Bro, just wanted to thank you, followed your step by step instructions and took out the clock spring a treat. Believe it or not my clock spring started to work intermittently when I put it all back, so it’s due for a new one. Thank you once again 🙏🏽
Disconnect battery again. Make sure you plugged the airbag in properly and then also checj that cable underneath clock spring that it is connected to it as well. Somewhere something not right 😬
any chances this will affect traction control? everything went smooth ASC light turned off like in 5 minutes now traction control lights start flickering and paj loosing power while driving? any thoughts?
That's exactly what happens when the clock-spring is not in the correct position or not engaged properly with the steering wheel. Remove the steering wheel, turn the clock spring clockwise until it goes tight. Turn it back 3 and 3/4 turns. Now put the wheel back on, making sure to engage the pins in the clock spring with the divots in the steering wheel. That should sort it out.

@@TheRoti101 thanks man I appreciate it and glad you got it sorted 🙌🏼
Thanks boet! I'll shop that clock spring early in the new year.
No worries mate 🙂💯
Thanks it helped a lot and now the radio controls are working as well as the cruise control which died last year
Awesome glad to hear!!
Thanks bro, this video really helped me.
Most welcome 😃🙌🏼
Hi! I've done exactly the same, but the backlights button (stereo) won't work anymore! Cruise controls backlights work perfectly. Any ideas?
Is the volume controls plugged in correctly? 😬
@@budget4x4life just checked the wires. everything works perfectly now. Thanks mate 🫡

Is the airbag connection the big yellow one? With the green clip? I did have trouble getting that one in, I may have bent a prong 🤔
@taybish5591 yes
@@budget4x4life thank u! I'll re-investigate
