Hey Matt, thanks for sharing all these great videos. Which split ring pliers do you use? I was using the Thor jig today (lethal, thank you for them) and my small pliers were struggling
hey thanks for the comment and praise! Im currently using a set of HpA split ring pliers, theyre decent stainless steel but quite big. Im considering having the Palmarius pliers on my JOKER website soon, they have 2 price points. The temptation is to use cheap ones but they dont last long but can crtainly do the job fora while
Yes Pete, it was so solid. Im thinking maybe a ling? We were only drifting at around 1 knot at the time and fishing right on the wreck.
nice video matt. those wrecks have taken some tackle off us over the years, some nice fish on the joker lures again,
That second bust off looked a seriously big pollack or maybe a coalie. Tough to take.
Yes Rob, youve got to expect losses as its a savage enviroment, just always a double blow when there's a big fish involved. 😂
Hi Matt nice video lots of info, was that some cod i seen you catching ? cheers Paul.
Yes Paul a couple of small ones there.

@@JOKERjigsandlures thanks, I’ll keep an eye on the website. As you say, I’ll get some cheap larger ones in the mean time
@@dongle_dangler thanks I did have some orange savage gear pliers which were ok but they do rust despite some sort of coating
