    Yes Pete, it was so solid. Im thinking maybe a ling? We were only drifting at around 1 knot at the time and fishing right on the wreck.

    That second bust off looked a seriously big pollack or maybe a coalie. Tough to take.

    Yes Rob, youve got to expect losses as its a savage enviroment, just always a double blow when there's a big fish involved. 😂

    Hey Matt, thanks for sharing all these great videos.
    Which split ring pliers do you use?
    I was using the Thor jig today (lethal, thank you for them) and my small pliers were struggling

      hey thanks for the comment and praise! Im currently using a set of HpA split ring pliers, theyre decent stainless steel but quite big. Im considering having the Palmarius pliers on my JOKER website soon, they have 2 price points. The temptation is to use cheap ones but they dont last long but can crtainly do the job fora while

      @@dongle_dangler thanks I did have some orange savage gear pliers which were ok but they do rust despite some sort of coating
