Bass Fishing on Lures - Epic day on the water!!!

- In this video Adam heads out of Calshot on a UMS 655 CC for a day’s Bass fishing around the needles! The scenery was truly breathtaking, with no wind, bright sunshine, and a flat calm sea it really was magical.
Using a variety of different lure fishing methods he catches loads of Bass, including a couple of absolutely stunning fish of a larger size. He also targets wrasse at slack water resulting in some awesome fishing. They have got to be some of the hardest fighting fish in our waters - great sport for when the Bass are not feeding!
Adam also talks through a few lure fishing methods in this video, including jigging in deeper water using heavy lures and using much lighter lures to target Bass when they are further up in the water. Let us know what your favourite method is to target Bass in the comments section!
All in all it was an awesome day on the water and hopefully, the first of many this summer. It was great to see other people like @squidward3fishingadventures out on the water enjoying the nice weather and catching Bass too!
On another note, we are of course just under a week away from the first stage of the Boatlife Fishing Championships!
It is being held up in Conwy, North Wales and will feature a Privateer event on the Sunday afternoon. A specimen hunt where the winning team will be taking home a staggering £2000!
There will also be a big social for everybody on the Saturday night. There’ll be music, a hog roast, a brewery, the Shimano Fishing simulator all available so make sure to turn up. It’s going to be awesome to have so many people from the boat fishing community together for what feels like the first few weeks of proper weather!

Days like that when the fish are really on the feed are the ones we remember for years. We don’t remember the tiredness or the long drives or the trials along the way. Just the joy of being out on a glassy sea filled with fish!!! Great video lads. 👍🏻🎣
