Today we check out The Spell Brigade Demo, an upcoming Horde Survivor focused heavily on Co-Op. Tune in as we have a first glance and attempt to avoid killing each other with friendly fire, which may or may not work out well. The Spell Brigade is an online co-op survivors-like for 1-4 players. Team up with your wizard friends to slay hordes of dark creatures. Complete team-based objectives, unlock new upgrades and create overpowered spell synergies. Friend nor foe is safe in this friendly fire bullet hell!

was instantly reminded of magicka and magicka 2 when talking about co-op mage games and friendly fire was one of the gimmicks in that....
need to go watch some videos about it soon cause its not nearly as fun when alone...
but the magic combinations and multiple ways to cast spells was something that was awesome no matter what... but a pain in the ass to master...

You need to pick spell frequency too, it multiplies by damage increases. Just going pure damage upgrades is wrong - 10% of frequency and 30% damage is 1,1 * 1.3 = 1,43 damage, whereas 40% damnage is just 1,4. +50% to both gives 225% overall damage, whereas pure +100% damage is just 200% damage
i want more games with coop horder /bullet heaven, but this one with the friendly fire, is crazy, i killed my friend like two times too.. hahaha

anyone else notice at the end of the music's loop it plays a sound like you pressed the Home button on a Wiimote?
I wonder if Moonerang would've gotten a big improvement if upgraded. It seems pretty bad as the base version.
dev here! we agree and are still working out some of the balancing. safe to say that the moonerang is a bit underpowered atm and will be improved :D
Commenting for the algorithm
I like what I see so wishlist? well I don't have friends... but at least it seems on the steam page that it have the solo tag so I'm ok! but will I get it? not sure I still have 2 or 3 other roguelike horde survivor game that I haven't "finished" (aka maybe at 20% of upgrades) so more isn't necessarily what I need for now :p
