Garlic is so overpowered in this game, BUT doesn't break the game. There's nothing scarier than realizing your garlic isn't one-hitting the horde anymore, and you need to RUN.
At that point I was wondering what I needed next 😂 couple deaths make you stop relying on it so hard

Bro, With evolved wand it's OP bro.
As soon as I heard, "but don't worry we'll banish it at level 9." I knew dex forgot what he was doing.
I think what happened is the Il Molise trees spawned off screen so you had nothing that could kill them and they took up all the enemy spawn slots. Ultra Wave seems to add extra enemies on top of the normal wave so they still came through. Yeah the same thing happened when the scorpion shooters spawned.
It also makes sense that on the successful run he already had strong weapons that could reach out that far so he cleared them in 10-20 seconds and normal play resumed.
It's annoying feels like the game is broken. Happens too often this patch
@@odindave6506 Well this particular thing is only a problem in a dont move challenge since youll usually just get closer to kill the enemies off screen lol
@@danielh.8765 Yeah it's very much exclusive to a self imposed challenge issue. In normal play, Il Molise would be free loot pinatas.

I think the reason things stopped spawning is because there were too many enemies outside of the screen. if you would've walked, you would've seen them but...
Dex: Oh no, we don't have banish so we have to max out pentagram...
Also Dex, but 3 minutes later: Don't worry about Torrona, we'll banish it.
I love the moment Dex realized about banish.
When used in conjunction with Garlic, Silver Wind can really make this a lot easier to manage, especially at higher levels. The projectiles stay reasonably close to the character, and the hearts that are produced don't just drop, they're brought to you. These 2 weapons in particular are quite good even if you don't/can't evolve them.

I remember the old challenges, back before we had pentagram. Glad to see you're doing well and still messing around with goofy challenges.
Love your runs man! I would love to see you try to get the highest possible levels with everything available, just an old school max run.
Doing this challenge with so many weapons and items is difficult because there are many options when leveling up, now it is much more complicated than in the early stages of the game.
Luckily you can banish weapons in the menu before a round, so these kinds of runs are still possible ^^
@@xFactions7 There are even weapons or objects that you will never use, we are grateful that it can be blocked before starting.

Rolling a Stalker should also be removed. I tried doing a nice bouncy build with Yatta and everytime shortly after I transformed and got the movement speed penalty, I rolled the stalker and it destroyed me. The fourth try, I was camping a rosary and got rid of it when it spawned.

He wants to destroy items. Anything he can't pick up is useless and had the chance to combine farther away

IIRC there is a rest on mobile where you have to tab a button x amount of times, I'd advise to join the VS Discord in the description and checking for reset notes
