    We were in Italy on May 26 when the ground transportation strike happened. Our Airbnb host was amazing and let us know Frecciarossa (high speed) trains aren't typically cancelled, and she even checked our train to make sure. I so agree with you about booking ahead. We had timed tickets for all museum's/monuments/churches we visited in Rome, Florence and Venice and we never had to wait more than a few minutes (verses hours!) It was a fabulous two weeks in Italy, and Aperol Spritz became a family favorite. 💜 Thank you for your wonderful videos.

    One thing I have learnt is, it is very good to learn a little of the language of the place you're going. When in Florence last year, I called for a Taxi and because I could not speak Italian, they hung up on me. It has been almost a year since, and I still feel like such a fool. This time, I am going to Paris in about 3 weeks time, and I am learning some basic French

    • @StayFabulousTL
      @StayFabulousTL  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Doesn't surprise me that they just hung up🤦‍♀️ But I agree, some basic words and phrases will definitely be useful no matter where you are going. I was just brushing up on my French today as well

    Thanks for always being so insightful and sweet. It also means a lot that you do have some interest in my fitness progress as well so I will definitely keep you updated on it. Would you ever consider an updated swimsuit haul? Perhaps at the next resort you visit. It's always motivating to see any physique results so it definitely keeps me on track. By the way if I was to travel right now I'd definitely pack my Linen shirts and Polos along with Chinos and lightweight Wool slacks. What I like about Wool is that it tends to be more wrinkle resistant compared to Linen while also being moisture wicking. Someday I do plan on getting a pair of Linen slacks but for now the Wool does an excellent job. Hope you don't mind feedback from a male supporter. What are you enjoying most about your Summer so far? Much love my friend.

    • @StayFabulousTL
      @StayFabulousTL  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I will probably do a swimsuit haul in Greece, especially since I got a few new swimsuits this season. But it will probably be in a "Short" format. I hear you regarding the wool pants. I do think that both wool and linen pants have place in men's wardrobe, but if you enjoy wearing wool pants so much - definitely do you! This summer so far I am enjoying all the traveling and the fact that its finally warm outside😊

    • @Manuel421
      @Manuel421 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@StayFabulousTL Thanks for responding whenever you have the time always helpful and appreciated. Do you ever enjoy getting to know your supporters? You seem like a really nice laid back person. I look forward to the swimsuit haul and I'll probably ask again when you upload it but any current favorites? I definitely need to upgrade my swim trunks since my past ones were long and baggy so obviously that is considered somewhat outdated and out of style now. It's been in the triple digits out here so I completely agree with you. Don't get me wrong I enjoy both fabrics as I also own Linen shirts just for now the wool pants work perfectly. If you know any good brands for Linen slacks don't hesitate to let me know:) I also enjoy thrift shopping.

    Anastasia , Thank you for another wonderful video. Let’s get straight to my constructive criticism regarding your take on customer service. I was born in Poland where I spent many years before immigrating to the US and being here for over two decades. Now you telling me that waiters/waitresses/servers/bartenders not attending your table or checking up in you because they prefer to give you a private space, it’s a flat out misconception. Folks in many places or countries whether in Europe or outside of Europe have no adequate training, or simply they don’t care. European employers are more laid back or indifferent when it comes to service than in the US; that is a fact. We have visited many countries; in each country we had both great and unsatisfactory service experiences.

    Do you do food tours on Sundays? I will be doing a Colosseum tour at 10:00 for a few hours but free after that, but only for that day. Coming from Australia means we have to cram in as much in as possible..

    Have you actually been to Europe we use am and pm. How thick are Americans, it's not called Military time in Europe its the 24 hour clock. It not rocket science 1pm +12 = 1300hrs. 1300hrs - 12 = 1pm.
    + or minus 12, its about as simple as maths gets you have 1 to 12 pm and you add 12 to get the 24 hour time. E.G. 13, 14, 15 etc, etc.
