Tom Hardy is a rare talent! Whether he plays a hero or a villain, he always brings a special charm. His performance in Venom was amazing, and he showed absolute multi-dimensionality in Legend. It's no wonder he's one of the top actors in Hollywood!
My pick for best performance is "The Drop"! No mask, no costume, no bio character, just an everyday man. Yet, the whole movie is read in his haunting face and eyes. Brilliant job, one of my favorites. Now, the other one never gets any mention at all. It's the 4 part limited series called "The Take"! My introduction to him and I've never looked back!!
Personally, my favorite Tom Hardy performance is in Bronson. He could go from funny to terrifying in the blink of an eye, but he was always captivating. The second best is Warrior. Both tough yet in a lot of pain, and I loved the ending.
Legend used digital makeup quite extensively. Tom was amazing at playing both parts, often against a tennis ball on a lighting stand. The on-set makeup was augmented to allow quicker turn around. Also digitally rebuilding his ear to remove an earpiece.
Tom Hardy's ink, his thoughts, experiences, stories, and forever skin deep is something I can 💯% agree with. Not one ink on my body & face is because "I thought it was cool." MANY are triditions many have a personal story behind them. Stories I will never share, they're my constant reminder, of pain, truth, most important people in my life and love.
He literally pulled a franchise...venom is nothing without Hardy!! He is literally brut force of talent and hardwork. Venom movies did make a huge ton of money.
Tom Hardy's claim to fame began with his appearance on Channel 4's The Big Breakfast (1992-2002) in 1998, where he was a skinny guest who won their "Find Me a Supermodel" competition. In 2009 he starred in ITV's *Wuthering Heights* (2009) which was written by *Bradford* author *Emily Bronte.* It was filmed in *Bradford, Leeds, Batley* and *Sheffield.* His co-lead was *Charlotte Riley* who went on to become his wife. *Charlotte* has appeared in 6 *Bradford* filmed productions which are: *Wuthering Heights* (2009), *Spanish Flu: The Forgotten Fallen* (2009), DCI Banks (2010-2016), *Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell* (2015), *King Charles III* (2017) and *Peaky Blinders* (2013-2022).
Thank God he's finnished with the Venom movies. He's a great actor, but those were the wrong movies to star in. He's excellent in about everything else
I've followed Tom Hardy since the supermodel competition on Big Brother, back in the 90's. I think he is FAB in Bronson but there is nothing he's been in that I haven't enjoyed. TV wise, he was great as the 'uncle', Alfie, in Peaky Blinders and Taboo is just amazing
Always wondered why the man had such a bad boy vibe going on! He's lived a pretty rough life in those early years. Great actor, wishing him all the best!
I absolutely love your videos, your hard work really does shine thine thru. But I've never heard so many names mispronounced, maybe look up all the names before you record.
I love Tom very much, I love Charlotte very much. Wonderful family. Talented actors, caring parents. Louis, Tom's eldest son, was on the Venom red carpet!!! very similar to Tom.
1:07:01 Been WAITING for this movie to come out, it’s made by the same director who did The Raid film series (Gareth Evans) and this seems like the PERFECT MOVIE for Hardy to star in since he does Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, him and Gareth are going to KILL IT with the action in this movie.
He's brilliant, although I don't like all his films. Warrior was the first thing I saw him in then The Take, in which he was absolutely amazing and you've not mentioned it... 😲😲😲
7:11 No offense to Tom I served 7 years in all 4 in the Special forces, It always amused me when reservists were coming up, or college kids who only joined for a free education, or what ever reason, the ones who believed the armed forces was a place to kill some time, and shocked they actually had to go to war. I'm sure they served and did their duty, but what the hell did they think all that combat training was for? Paintball? to all the trolls in advance, I really don't give a F@@@@K!! 😁😁
I’m an older Hardy fan. (64yrs) Mr Hardy’s choice of characters and the intensity which plays them appeal to me. I’d rather not hear if he’s weird in his daily life. I don’t respect that. And, no it to be an excuse to lay amongst one’s demons. Give your family your best. “F” the rest!!!
in short, Tom Hardy was a good guy, but a very depressed rebellious person in his younger years after years became a better version of himself. we'll still have his bad moments life
His second child looks like his mum, who is a boy. Plus Tom has been seen out with them, but their faces are blurred. Also a fan said how they had a conversation about bringing up boys.
He's a one trick pony. Domineering, physical, imposing. He has none of the subtleties of a de niro, a brando or even an Ian Holm. Cannot dissappear and be a chameleon like Viggo Mortensen or Forrest Whitaker.
@@orangewarm1 I couldn’t disagree with you more, Deniro and the others merely play an exaggerated version of themselves and don’t have a fraction of the talent this man has! He is only eclipsed by a Gary Oldman, both disappear completely, I seen several of Toms films had no idea it was him
I think Tom out performs many others including De Niro. Tom is unique in his ability to be a tough guy and funny. He also becomes his characters so completely you hardly recognise him.

I agree 👍👍👍
One of my favourite actors. I was actually one of the people who watched Venom only because of Hardy.
Tom Hardy is a great actor. I love him! ❤️
Bond maybe 🧐🤔....
You forgot THE TAKE. Tom plays an outstanding role (as always)!!!
I loved Tom Hardy in "Rock'n'Rolla" but his character in "Lawless" had me hooked.

I enjoy watching his acting in every movie!

Also No one else could have pulled off "Locke"

Hello 😊😊
Loved him in Peaky Blinders, he’s my favourite character after Tommy.
This means War is one of my favorites.
But I think he's a good actor altogether 🙂😉!
Rock and Rollin❤
I think Tom Hardy should have been the lead actor in the movie Fury!
He's brilliant, although I don't like all his films. Warrior was the first thing I saw him in then The Take, in which he was absolutely amazing and you've not mentioned it... 😲😲😲
Том Харди лучший актер 😊😊😊

Yep, never heard of him.
Сериал " Прикуп" супер
He good in somethings, not in others.
👍👍👍🎥
You’re totally wrong about his kids, he has 3 boys and those aren’t their names
His second child looks like his mum, who is a boy. Plus Tom has been seen out with them, but their faces are blurred. Also a fan said how they had a conversation about bringing up boys.
Hello 😊😊
Tom has 2 boys and 1 girl!
@ proof?
@ Tom had 3 boys
Never seen the Bronson movie, would really like to see it. Charles Bronson is still in jail till this day, so I believe.
He plays a real bastard and you love to hate him. Please check it out.
So this is written and read by AI right?
👍
