  • Part 3 of the journery on the Kanchipuram Vandavasi route taking us back to the 7th centure architecture of the Pallavas. This Cave temple was built by the then ruler Mahendravarman I. He was known as curious minded and tiger amoung artists. this is one of his thought process and construction. It would have neen a tedious work to carve these temples on the hills. Palar river is near by. Lets turn this history page and see what we have today.
