It's funny this guy made jokes about getting his knob out and having a tug because at 0:32 I actually thought his sand sculpture was of a guy with his knob out and having a tug.
I thought you were going to say it was something a little more similar to what we saw on the show, not that they've cut out you're complete idea. I would have never of guessed. Sounds like a really creative idea there at the end. The edits gave me a chuckle, cheers dude.
im a comedian yes, but this is not a wind up. I do believe the world could benefit from an open sourse, ethical, transparent platform, that rewards it's users, without harvesting their data.
The idea: "Clean trash on the beach to get actual money" Next day: Thousands gather to litter all across the beach and clean up only half of it" I'm out.
Robots on the beach to clean up litter? That has to be the most bizarre pitch in the show if that is the case. Where were the physical robots or even the litter in the pitch? Do you have a background in robotics because I guarantee that would have been interesting to viewers. Additionally, robots on the beach sound like a disaster. They will get washed away, stuck in the sand, the salt and sand would damage the circuitry. The cost vs profit would be a no go from the beginning, that is all assuming they can actually reliably pick up all the litter. To be honest the BBC actually sound like they did the right thing with the editing.
th-cam.com/video/Md2Y8qgSRH8/w-d-xo.html I lived in San Francisco for a year in an attempt to learn how to code. I have a background in engineering and the robot building was easy, the coding a platform was the bit beyond my ability. So I went to study in Silicon Valley. theo jansen has been making beach robots for decades, I just wanted to give them a purpose to exist. At the time my prototypes were not working but I got them functional soon after. I just didn’t have the money or time to take it any further
The BBC would have had to do an extensive edit to recontexualize the pitch to such an extensive degree. I have a feeling, no disrespect, that this is just a joke. His bio even says he's a comedian. Perhaps he does have skills with robotics, but the amount of editing such a cover up would take, while not impossible, would be crazy. In addition, given the fact that the show is made for entertainment, wouldn't leaving in such a creative idea be to their benefit?
I think the idea of a robot going around and cleaning a beach sounds like a good idea on paper but it's terrible in real life, then there's also the issue of people who will inevitably try to vandalize the robots
Your genius kinda reminds me of Monty Python, like every edit and every word you say has a point and is funny as well. You have a sub from me and when I become King of a new country, by law, you'll have subs from all my people too. Much respect.
It’s supposed to be funny yes. I mean I’ve had lots of people say that they thought it was funny but it’s subjective, and impossible to please everyone at once. You probably also realise people find very different things funny depending on their personal sense of humour. What kind of things do you find funny to watch?
Im a bit confused whats happening
So am I.
"What do you wear under your kilt?" Very invasive question. Imagine asking a woman what she wears under her skirt.
Ok snowflake.
Spot on
You are joking right?
It's a joke you ask every guy who wears one this
Lol I remember that pitch. I don't buy your rewrite of history but your re-edit was hilarious!
I can’t believe how serious people are lol
This guy is a comedian and just taking the piss 😂
Funny re-edit , top man 👍

"What do you wear under your kilt?" The answer is, "A bagpipe!"!!
Jenny: I know im not involved here in any way but I would like to say that Im out.
Well I appreciate you taking the time to respond to my pitch. Maybe I can win you over with my next crazy idea.
Thank you kind sir!
Looks like you were ahead of time, years ahead of time.
Edit: or like others have posted, you’re a comedian, and this is just to wind up 😅

@@MrDrewP ahead of your time. The world isn’t ready for that yet. It’s still run on greed.
@@MrDrewP 🤣🤣 that is too clever and too funny for a TH-cam comment well done
Touker does your sand need office space?
Mr drew. what have you been smoking lol.
I dunno but I wish I had some .
Best of luck, mate.
So good!

Yeah, that producer should be fired.

@@draculastraphouse7863 I agree on both counts. Plus, I don't quite know if the robots would work as the original commentor said.
@@draculastraphouse7863 but it would still have been a great DD pitch, with interesting points for the dragons to ask into.
🤓🤪 this is like a carry on film 😜🤓
I see this they should the full video it looks like you edited it.

I think you dodged a bullet from those shysters who want to rob other peoples ideas for their own gain!
They just wouldn’t give you cash after you said you were homeless
That made you a policeman in their mind
This is funny. So well done. 😂🤗🤗😉
Thank you Holgar. Thats very kind of you to say.
I'm out as well.
🤣🤣🤣
this is hilarious
Saddo.
😂🤣😆
