    You need to ask these questions first before investing in an RO for your family.

    Can you split the system to work on the refrigerator water system and at the sink?

    Will a pressure regulator be needed for a typical ro system

      Almost never, only if your pressure is above 75 psi.

    Will there not be chemicals left in the pipes ?

      This gets installed with it's own faucet and new tubing, so no, there won't be.

      Does you system use all stainless steel tubing? Microplastics are now a known concern.

    You have not mentioned any TDS numbers for the Osmosis water versus municipal? What should I expect in TDS reading after I install Model T32M iSpring Reverse Osmosis? thank you.

      It should drop the TDS by over 90%, at least that's what our systems do like this one waterestore.com/products/hum-water-saver-75-gpd-reverse-osmosis-system-brushed-nickel-faucet

    I really appreciate all your videos. I'd never dealt with ro til we moved into our new home, a couple of years ago. It was a Rainsoft, which I really hated. I finally decided to swap it out. Found a good one on Amazon. Other than having to change some fittings, it wasn't hard to do.
    I didn't want to put it under my sink. The tanks were downstairs. I found one video that said I could drain it upstairs with it being a pressurized system. That was perfect. Works great and I highly recommend an ro system, and also recommend watching your terrific videos. Thanks Gary!

      Glad you have been pleased. I would have suggested this Made in USA, high efficiency, high flow Reverse Osmosis system waterestore.com/products/hum-water-saver-75-gpd-reverse-osmosis-system-brushed-nickel-faucet

      I paid $220 US for mine.. I get readings around 3-5 consistently. I think it works great. It's usually just my wife and I, so it's not like we use a ton of water. I wanted to chime in, and thank you for the great info.

    hey
    my tap water come in at around 650 ppm TDS which is pretty hard , I’ve been wondering weather i should get a water softener or a whole-house reverse osmosis system that stores in tank.
    to me it seems obvious that RO is better because it softens, purifies, and decreases the TDS.
    if i install a whole house RO
    is a softener now not needed?

    • @water_estore
      @water_estore  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No, you will need to install a water softener before the reverse osmosis system. Have your water tested and send us the results and w

    I am going to get an RO system. Wouldn’t a while home large distiller be the best purification system? Probably not economical

    • @water_estore
      @water_estore  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Nope distiller is far too expensive to purchase and operate. We have whole houe Reverse Osmosis systems here waterestore.com/search?type=product&q=vectamaxx

    @GarytheWaterGuy is RO system needed with water softener being installed shortly?

    • @water_estore
      @water_estore  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes. I and most of our customers have both because a water softener does not lower TDS or get rid of those contaminants.

    Is there any way to know when a filter has been depleted or do most people replace the filters with zero knowledge of useful life left? I mean I am interested in a system but only for drinking water from the fridge and I am trying to ascertain the yearly cost for a small system like that. Obviously if I only need to replace the filters when they are used up then I will save money. Is there a meter that can be installed inline that can inform the user of how many gallons have been consumed?

    • @water_estore
      @water_estore  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No meter, rule of thumb is once a year or when they get so clogged it slows down the flow.
