The people underplaying this fall either got massive egos, have never fallen down a even relatively steep slope before, or both. Yes he's lucky that the snows' condition was what it was, it likely did save him, but that fall was nuts
yes i completely agree. my own heart started racing worrying about his neck and breathing because if he tumbled that long i was worried he could breathe. i have never ever fallen from that high, but from my tumble i took when i was 12-13, i remember thinking i was going to die and hit a nearby tree and the fear of not breathing. I definitely think that the amount of snow and how light it was, was a key factor to him surviving.
Ive done big mountian skiing begore and its alwyas scary when falling down like that. But it is safe as long as u dont hit a rock. Thats what makes it scary.
