Amberlynn is like a physical example of when network executives greatly over estimate the popularity of a character from a show, so they make a spin-off series purely about them without any understanding of what made the character entertaining in the first place. It's their reaction to other characters and usually their sparing usage in the original that makes them funny and/bearable and when we get too much of them, we quickly become sick of their antics. Amberlynn is essentially living in her "Planet Sheen" or "Young Sheldon" era right now.
Truth be told, both Amber and Foodie are aging out of an audience who might be willing to be captivated by slow-moving shenanigans clickbated by 2 unreliable lying narrators. TikTok length videos produced by a newer generation that want entirely different types of social media content trends are what have continually been passing Amber and Foodie by. Scenery barely changes, activity barely fluctuates, the requests and/or helpful suggestions by the audience are deleted, blocked, or NEVER considered. They both seem to only want their comment sections and chat to be their own personal vampiric therapy session. And all the while blatantly lying away any grain of respect they have for any of us or themselves. It’s exhausting and we’ve been pretty much moving on for a good year now.

I’ve had kidney stones my whole life - even having one surgically removed, there’s no cutting or slicing, it’s truly no big deal. I’ve never known someone to be so mean spirited, smug, disingenuous, self obsessed, and just plain not a nice person, telling everyone else they need to ‘do better’ ‘be more kind’ etc. it’s called gaslighting and projection.
Because Amber isn't that interesting anymore. As fun as her side characters was, apart of her audience did want to see her overcome her weight and become a better person, but as more and more of her background was revealed - The animal abuse, sibling abuse, spousal abuse and the way she paraded her parents around for pity - It became less interesting because she had relived her 'cycle' more times than we had known. I'm at my heaviest now. But not for long! I've never once had any medical assistance in losing the weight. No drugs, no diet plans, personal trainers, nada. She ended up watching a vlog from ALR's channel and complained to me that she couldn't finish it, it was so boring. 🤣 I had to give her the talk that you never watch Amber herself you have to watch through a reaction channel.

I will tell you what made me “ hate “her…my little cousin who was 12 at the time, uses my TH-cam because I want to monitor what she watches….she had messaged this individual from my Facebook, again she uses my messages so I can monitor, so I looked at the message…she was asking her for TH-cam tips, which is fine and Amber didn’t respond but at this time her food intake tripled and I was like what is going on..maybe it’s puberty and she’s just hungry so I watched her behavior for a month, during this time she also started making up or embellishing stories…then we sit down and had a talk…turns out, what she took away from ambers videos is I can shovel food into my face and make millions and it doesn’t matter how it effects my health bc I’ll have money….we had a discussion on how we work for the money we have and we earn the things we want …we don’t get these things by making up stories and playing on peoples emotions…..kids do watch this stuff and her lack of self awareness or caring how she influences someone is dangerous and ridiculous…she will never get another view from anyone in this household

Yes! I was just thinking about Eric and Ricky and how I looked forward to watching them when Amber lived in their home with Beck. They were very clever/quick witted. Amber, of course, began expecting them to serve her in some degree -- like bringing her take-out food. In one of Amber's videos I was shocked at Amber's disrespect of their hospitality when she video taped a tour she took of their bathroom and their personal effects. Amberlynn is extremely boring. There's not even any drama or anything to talk about. I dont blame people for stopping watching when it's the same shit different day. She's not even stupidly funny/ridiculous like she was during the gaycare era. It's so messy and she's made this so messy because imo something awful did happen to her as a child. apart from all the baggage and lore its obvious that she isn't well and is carrying trauma that's probably some form of one of these stories. but then she changes it up and takes other people's traumas and repurposes them and uses it all to justify her actions and it makes her so deeply unlikable

So many people don't have the resources and support system she had over all these years, and they're doing better than her. All sympathy goes out the window, when she's complaining about her physical and mental health without trying to improve it. She just uses her trauma as a shield for any responsibility. All her flaws are just someone else's fault from her childhood or an ex partner.
She uses people in two ways: She drains people she likes and blames people she dislikes for her own flaws. And sometimes she drained someone so much, that they become useless to her, so she dislikes them and then pretends they traumatized her, to squeeze some pity out of her audience. I genuinely believe she can't give, only take.

I've lost 70 lbs 5x in my life bc of the meds - from chemo size 0-2 - my heaviest (steroids) size 16. I'm at my heaviest now. But not for long!
I've never once had any medical assistance in losing the weight. No drugs, no diet plans, personal trainers, nada. If I hear her say, "I'm LITERALLY starving," when many of us are, or have, bc of extreme poverty? It makes me want to throw my phone into the garbage disposal and I can't afford another one!🤣

Amber just is obsessed with lying. I am sure that probably when she wasnt on the internet lying helped her. But if you lie on the internet... people can find out really quickly.... because you can go back and watch old videos. Just go see glitter and lasers...for an example. The camera doesnt lie.
Things that are recorded can be used as receipts and its like when youre with someone toxic you sometimes wish that you could catch their actions on camera.

She also titled one of her videos "thyroid cancer" when she was doing a Q&A about Ozempic, but that part of the video was actually about how Ozempic has *never* been linked to thyroid cancer in humans. She got called out for that clickbait and changed the title to "risk of thyroid cancer" which was also manipulative because the whole point was that there WAS no risk.
I love how she says she never “gives up”. If you mean, you’re still alive, sure, you haven’t fully given up. But her life has zero forward motion. Her and I are the same age and it’s wild to me how literally nothing happens in her life, genuinely nothing.

I'm pretty sure that there's proof that Amber was more at the 700s than 600 lbs at her highest (that one picture when they were at Eric's birthday in the garage).

I had gained some after several surgeries and last I weighed I'm down 18 lbs. But I don't own scales bcz it will make me lose too much so I'm hoping when I weigh again on the 5th I've lost more. Congrats on the weight loss. Lifestyle change not diet. 🎉
For me, I feel like it's the opposite. Might be awful, but whenever I'm trying to reset back into a good food and exercise routine, I will binge stuff like them and shows like My 600-lb Life like they are warnings lol.

I actually stopped watching anything related to Amber. It always puts me in a horrible state of mind that I can’t seem to get over. Shes so sick in every way (mentally, emotionally,physically). I thought long before clicking on this video and it was one of the best. I agree with everything you said. It’s sad but the girl embodied her disease. She learned to love it and cash in on it. There’s only so much of that anyone can take before they get ill themselves.

I will tell you what made me “ hate “her…my little cousin who was 12 at the time, uses my TH-cam because I want to monitor what she watches….she had messaged this individual from my Facebook, again she uses my messages so I can monitor, so I looked at the message…she was asking her for TH-cam tips, which is fine and Amber didn’t respond but at this time her food intake tripled and I was like what is going on..maybe it’s puberty and she’s just hungry so I watched her behavior for a month, during this time she also started making up or embellishing stories…then we sit down and had a talk…turns out, what she took away from ambers videos is I can shovel food into my face and make millions and it doesn’t matter how it effects my health bc I’ll have money….we had a discussion on how we work for the money we have and we earn the things we want …we don’t get these things by making up stories and playing on peoples emotions…..kids do watch this stuff and her lack of self awareness or caring how she influences someone is dangerous and ridiculous…she will never get another view from anyone in this household

All the years I’ve watched TH-cam and all the different creators she is the only one to make reruns and pass it off as new content. She also had never shown a sliver of appreciation towards her audience even when people were supportive.
