I do believe that she had Becky wipe her after her surgery, but I don’t agree it was necessary. Too many people have come forward and said that even a radical hysterectomy just isn’t that immobilising afterward. I believe she was uncomfortable doing it, similar to post childbirth, and that required Becky’s attention. I also don’t believe that’s the only time she needed help. She claims Becky would pass her a cloth and a bucket and then leave the room but I don’t believe that. The scale she had at that time would have been the heavy duty scale used to weigh car parts. The limit on that one was at least 1000 pounds if I’m remembering correctly. She got to the point where she was so huge she couldn’t step on the platform for that scale because she couldn’t bring her feet close enough together to stand on the weighing platform. There are wider platforms made for that model of scale, but Amber couldn’t be assed to buy one and instead just stopped weighing herself entirely.

Amber has told her audience on multiple occasions that when she starts steadily gaining weight that she stops weighing herself so it's out of sight, out of mind, and has plausible deniability. She did it the summer she got back up to her "highest recorded weight". She knows what she's doing. She knows she was 600, she didn't need to step on a scale to know it.

Oh she also implied that she only started using mobility scooters in stores during the Destiny years as ‘her feet hurt, she’s wearing the wrong shoes, her foot is ‘literally broken you guys (she was never diagnosed with a heel spur, a broke foot or anything other than idleness) when the truth is that she was using them at 23 while she was with Krystle, weighing 400lbs. This was the same time that on Ask fm she stated that when she’s not filming she walks faster than any other member of her group and that she ‘doesn’t get winded’.

The scale she had at that time would have been the heavy duty scale used to weigh car parts. The limit on that one was at least 1000 pounds if I’m remembering correctly. She got to the point where she was so huge she couldn’t step on the platform for that scale because she couldn’t bring her feet close enough together to stand on the weighing platform. There are wider platforms made for that model of scale, but Amber couldn’t be assed to buy one and instead just stopped weighing herself entirely.

I just realized as a budding linguist that Amber has a very weird accent. The way she pronounces the Eh sound is very Midwesterner almost Canadian, which doesn’t line up with the fact she has lived in California most of her life. She also doesn’t have the tone change that the standard Cali accent has. It could be that she struggles with English in general but her accent is strange.

I have been thinking about cutting my hair myself because I really need a cut, but I'm a crazy busy and broke grad student... Why someone like Amber, with all the time and disposable income in the world, would do it herself instead of going to a good salon is truly beyond me. Then again, she's apparently SO PROUD of her "hair transformation", so I guess a good hair cut would be wasted on her anyway.💀
To be fair... I haven't been to a hairdresser in 15 years. I cut and dye my own hair all the time... But, half my hair is shaved and my hair is pink. I'm actually pretty good at cutting my own hair (and I use hair cutting scissors). Hairdressers have just never understood what I was asking for and I always ended up upset with the result... So, I do it myself 😅

I hate when people say “you’re x lbs, you’re not a picky eater” it doesnt work like that. It doesn’t appear to me that amber if a picky eater. However, some people with ARFID are very picky eaters and are still overweight because those few foods are their comfort. So they just consume a lot of it.
