Extended scenes that look animated on 3s that would've been nicer at higher frame rates. Wanna emphasize my use of "look" here since I'm not an animator. If I was to blame something it'd probably be the fact that it's nearly entirely supported by Patreon, and as the end credits say, it's 70% Zeurel doing the animation. Incredible animator, but when most of it is one guy you gotta make decisions for what does and doesn't deserve attention. I still stand by myself saying the presentation is something it has over the other shows. TADC and even Hazbin Hotel may be higher budget and have a bigger team, but they don't have elaborate action sequences in every episode like Monkey Wrench does.
If Joel ever sees this: Shrike has those mannerisms because he watches too many Terran Spanish-language cartoons. It's hinted at in a previous episode. Unsure about any more specifics - I remember watching Shrike's previous incarnations waaaaay back during the early Flash days (he looked like a sentient string cheese stick), but I don't remember anything explaining his mannerisms from that era.

It's funny cause he's being doing that unintentionally for quite some time, like When he plays around with voices on streams, it's funny and like not serious, but it's even funnier how that sort of pays off to him doing it more seriously. I think that's generally the best way to improve on voice acting, just goof around XD Actually now that i think of it, anything you do can be improved by just, goofing around, having fun is the key!
I've been a fan of Zeruel since the video he did about you and the wasp! I knew there was amazing talent there and him and all of the people who are working on this are absolutely amazing people including Joel and Vinny. It's only fitting for Joel to voice a Space Skeleton Pirate and for Vin to voice a little grey alien.

As much as I like Monkey Wrench and I agree regarding the quality, it should NOT go to any major studio. Yes, that would solve the money problem and struggles with the amount of work that these indie projects have, but it costs. It costs a LOT. And the problem is, most projects can't afford how much it actually ends up taking. Artistic freedom, intended vision, soul. All of that goes as soon as the pact is signed.

The one great aspect of these voice lines is that there was very few times where your accent was heard. Your lines were delivered nicely and it made it harder to hear that it was actually you until the fight scene. Great work! :)
Space Dandy is short but sooo worth a watch. Phenomenal animation, hilarious, Incredibly powerful and almost inspiring sometimes too. One of the best animes I've ever seen

This is great. But Joel mentions TV a bit here. A lot of shows that go from internet to TV get cancelled too soon before the vision can be achieved and the creator loses the rights to their own show.

omg i remember predicting this would happen, back in like july i think!! i compiled a bunch of evidence and made a whole post about it on tumblr.. when i first heard jawbone’s lines in the monkey wrench trailer for glitch X i was so excited because for whatever reason i thought it was SUCH a stretch and very unlikely but no, i was right!!!!!! i keep a theory web (i do a lot of theorizing and speculation about MW in general) and theres a whole chunk of it thats just the evidence i gathered for that one prediction, from the show and from the show’s official tumblr and such lmao

omg i remember predicting this would happen, back in like july i think!! i compiled a bunch of evidence and made a whole post about it on tumblr.. when i first heard jawbone’s lines in the monkey wrench trailer for glitch X i was so excited because for whatever reason i thought it was SUCH a stretch and very unlikely but no, i was right!!!!!! i keep a theory web (i do a lot of theorizing and speculation about MW in general) and theres a whole chunk of it thats just the evidence i gathered for that one prediction, from the show and from the show’s official tumblr and such lmao
