my Wife and I were in the middle of an argument during the 9th inning. As soon as Canha got the RBI single, whatever we were arguing about did not matter anymore. Thank you Canha.
I was the fan in centerfield when marte hit the go ahead ball. The most ELECTRIC experience I've ever had!!!!! An experience I will never forget!!!!! LFGM
This was such a fun game. I rememebr watching on my phone in bed and flipping out, texting my brother and dad telling them they needed to put on the game
Such an amazing comeback. Wish I could have watched this one. I did get to attend the other game against Philly where Butto got his first start where Canha kept us in the game with a couple of deep balls.
I don't have a lot of energy for rivalries in sports, but I went to a few Mets/Phillies games in 2007 and this game finally felt like revenge for having to put up with all of the Phillies fans at those games.
I feel like we should have just went with JD Davis at 3B all year instead of signing Esco, Escobar was a great teammate but JD did great after he left. We never truly gave him a regular starting position every day except 2019 and he hit 22 dingers and an OPS of .895
What i remember about this game was Lindor making (as I recall) 2 errors that allowed 4 unearned runs. So 7-1, I figure meh, Phils earned the win. As they crept closer 7-3... 7-4 I started thinking... mf Lindor straight lost the game singlehandedly. When J.D. came up with 2 out I again figured it was over. All to say this game was amazing. F*ck San Diego.
I have a friend who's a Philadelphia fan. So whenever the "Mutts" (his term) play the "Philthies" (my term), we like to trade smack talk back and forth. After this game, he sent me a one-sentence message: "I ain't even mad."
Who would've thought after this game that the Phillies would be the ones to go to the World Series 😅 Also, the 2022 Mets with Dom Smith and JD Davis were better than the 2023 Mets without them. Go figure
The 2022 Mets were something else.
real
Yup. They sure were.
If only Billy Eppler would've been active by the trading deadline
They certainly are something else.
If they would have gotten hot at the right time they would have gone all the way.

If you guys are fighting, it's probably a sign you're headed towards splitsville. TIME TO DIVORCE HER
@@jeffreyuber5788Are you an expert.
I remember the Phil's announcers being very salty that night😂

Thats what being a mets fan gets you , some of the craziest moments in baseball , or well you know how the other way goes 😭😭
Shout out to the people behind home plate at 00:00:45 who stayed and were still there at 00:22:50.
The best part about this is the Philies broadcast team and Postgame reactions. Because they're so partial, they're crying and whining was hilarous.
Y hoy octubre 4 2024 estan luciendo especacular 🔥🔥🔥
This was such a fun game. I rememebr watching on my phone in bed and flipping out, texting my brother and dad telling them they needed to put on the game
Had to rewatch this. Puts a smile on my face. 2024 season is here! #LFGM
What a great season. I miss the 2024 season already!
2024 - I love watching this again!
As a Phillies fan, when Lindor hit that 2-run homer I simply said "no worries, it won't possibly make any difference"
What a fool I was
Man, they owned the Phillies in 2022.
Facts
just did it again
And we own them again
Miss these days
During the long dark of winter, these innings of old ballgames really carry me.
This is why I love baseball
JOEY CORA was one of the best third base coaches the METS have ever had.
Thank you for posting this. I haven’t seen this game. The Miracle Mets are something special. I’m looking forward to 2025!
Thank you for honoring your promise sir. Man of your words. Let's Go Mets
Its funny i just was watching the mets colipse in 2007 than this pops up after watching that go from being happy to angry lol😂
The Amazing Miracle Mets!!!!
imma be honest it really sounded like there were more Mets fans than Philly fans, I cant imagine the happiness of fans in that game
這就是棒球神奇的地方,不到比賽結束,都有機會
You nailed it, my friend. ✊🏼
It's not over until it's over. 👍👍
Such an amazing comeback. Wish I could have watched this one. I did get to attend the other game against Philly where Butto got his first start where Canha kept us in the game with a couple of deep balls.
I was at the double header after this game; it was so fun to see all the downtrodden faces around me!

Truly the Amazin’ Mets
Shit man a healthy Marte again in 2024 would be so so huge
21:05 21:06 21:07 21:08 21:09 21:10 Unbelievable! And the New York Mets comeback from 7-1 to take the lead 8-7 in Philadelphia!😊😊😊😊

keep the posts coming, LGM!
Could it be possible that we’ve recaptured these vibes in Queens in 2024
2022 Mets was the chosen team. Billy Eppler said otherwise. We need buck back
God do I miss Buck. Kirby too.
Please don’t take Our Lord’s Name in vain. Peace!
@@TruBluLew23Carlos Mendoza is doing just fine
Do you think you could get the whole game on here?
Can you post the video with the Mets radio broadcast as the audio?
The date in the caption was wrong. It was 5/5/2022, not 2023.
Its even better watching the phillies broadcast and listening to them deteriorate
That wasn't the full inning. You didn't show Diaz earning a save!
This is why I don't hold with the rubbish about being disrespectful by adding on runs in a "blow out".
Awesome! LGM ! 👍
And Edwin shut the door, GG LGM
I was going fucking crazy watching this game!! Especially after the comeback against the Cards a few games before, this team was so much fun to watch.
AMAZIN' METS!!
👏👏👏👏👏😊
Description says 5/5/23 but this was 2022!
he went to all hallows thats wild thats my alma mater
This feels like ages ago. What happened to this team?
Turns out that Dom and JD were the glue holding things together 😅
They choked in Atlanta, nothing’s been the same since
Diaz celebrated in the WBC, Marte became a shell of himself, Verlander and Scherzer…….blew.
I was at this game. Let’s go Mets!
Always delicious against Philly in their ballpark.
What day was this? (I want to watch the game highlights)
It was 5/5/22. Not, 2023 #JustSayin
Date in the description should be 2022?
Where is Dom Smith and Jankowski now?
1:06 phillys be like easy win bois stop trying
great you don't let us mets fans enjoy the finish with Diaz

This team was special too bad they couldn’t get it together in the playoffs
Mets are the best
You can Say That again!

this game was great, fucking laughed my ass off
The Mets should hire Buck Schowalter again
Ummmm no they shouldn’t
I guess whoever wrote the subject line for this video doesn't actually know what a full inning is.
Who would've thought after this game that the Phillies would be the ones to go to the World Series 😅 Also, the 2022 Mets with Dom Smith and JD Davis were better than the 2023 Mets without them. Go figure
As a Phillies fan I understand this because the bullpen aint that great
How many turned off the game, went to sleep and then shocked the next day?
Only if Starling stayed healthy and J.D stayed on the team
❤
Umm "full inning"?
Dom smith eddy escobar and mark chana are gone!
11:39
That ladies face, lol
lol this upload is just a distraction from their terrible off-season
Jesus Christ loves you❤
4 Phillies fans downvoted this video
So how did the Mess (earned) wind up with a sub .500 season????
Poorly constructed roster, but mainly because seemingly every starter we had was either on the IL or pitching while hurt.
The Mets are bad im a Phil’s fan
Clearly not 😂😂😂
Well we owned you this year
Stop posting old highlights it’s so cringe
Then don’t watch it.
