You re amazing thomas ! Your video are the best in EU. Very interesting and straight to the right points right or bad ! Really appreciate your comments on the comfort of the cars. That s a key point ! Do not understand sometimes car marker choices seats and suspension .. at the end a car is for moving and driving .. not stay in the garage. Thanks again
I live in the Alps and - given its name + me being a BMW enthusiast - I thought the B3 might be the perfect car for me. I've tested it twice extensively against an M340i. Twice because I did not want to believe my first impression. Bottom line: surprisingly, the B3 is not better in the mountains. The B3's power, comfort and handling are clearly superior, no doubt about it. The S58 engine is an absolute gem ... at illegal speeds. It really explodes as from 70-80 km/h, which you can then enjoy up to 120-130 km/h - unless you live in southern Germany. Up to 70-80 km/h it's objectively not slow, but you feel that the car is loading up for something amazing to happen next. If you drive frequently in that speed-band - i.e. in the mountains - that becomes frustrating. The power delivery of the M340i is much more gradual. First because the turbo lag is less noticeable - given the lower total power output of its engine - and also because the B58 engine now has mild-hybrid support, which the S58 doesn't. This fills in the gap nicely. Driving hairpin curves with the B3 is frustrating. After every turn, you're forced to wait for the car to load up and then go. The M340i doesn't have that. On any other road I would recommend the B3, just not on hairpins.
Looks amazing
Looks better than the M3 actually
The looks is just much better than the M3, and that's just because of the grill design.
And the wheels, these are stunning
Way better than the M2 Atec Pontiac
Sales numbers say enough, this is a beefed up 340.
Bro it's 2024... the grill hate is so boring now. Sales numbers speak for themselves. I'm sure you drive a VW.

That b3 gt3 driving in front of you is still a beast also.

I thought someone stole Autogefuhl's video. Sorry Thomas for reporting the video - it's not a harmful or misleading content at all.
Alpina only available in an 8 series and x7 in North America…a shame!
#perfection
So glad you didn't buy the ugly M2 in the history... This is elegant but sporty! ❤
Amazing vehicle. What's the name of the paint color?
So basically 340 is still the choice
Still, a huge tablet in front 😢
