This is worth the try. I like repeating because with each round (in any workout) I can focus more through the increasing effort. I believe this is where I get my gains!
Ive been AFAA certified since the mid 80's and like them A lot! Much of what they taught and still teach is to error on the side of sterility IMHO. Gentle Ballistic stretching is a great way to warm up the muscles and to increase flexibility. Think of it as a muscle memory" that they are supposed to move like rubber bands and not stay stretched (sorry, best way I can explain it)...Static stretching is great post workout, but not good before the workout. I was taught in AFAA not to do ballistic stretching. Why do you bounce in your hamstring stretch?
