My son is small and has a 4ft rod with a small spin cast and 20lb braid. The first time I took him carp fishing, he caught one that was 9lbs. He was reeling and squealing and now only wants to carp fish. Good times and great memories! 👍

Another fun day fishing with Justin! I spent the afternoon rigging a new fishfinder on my kayak. Great video to end the day with. You are always entertaining and inspiring.
That was a good time fishing trip. You did a good job. I enjoyed it. Wish I could fish like you do. My husband works and I take care of cattle. We have 4 different farms. We raise beef cattle. I just don't have time to fish. But I have really enjoy watching your fishing videos. Jesse fishes alot. He likes to kayak fish too. I wish he was making fishing videos. He's a electrician. He works alot too but on his days off or weekends he does go Kayak fishing. Good luck on your slot tournament 👍.
I think those dark fish are shallow water fish. Texas Fishery Center in Athens has a whole tank of fish that are black like that

I to am turning 40 this year so it also has been a good amount of time since I’ve rode a bike, the idea of a motor in a bicycle to help my outta shape butt get back home definitely sounds like a winner in my book

Don't see many melenistic catfish but you sure caught one. That would have been a good one for what I call The Fish House (aquarium).
Here in Wisconsin all most all the channels are black as night. I took one back to the taxidermist because he painted it blue. He said "it will look like a bullhead". I said "I showed you the picture ... I want to remember it like it was'. Yeah ... I've been catching them for 60yrs too.

I`ve seen them black with rust brown spots and even rust brown body with black spots and to beat all they were in the 100lb range.

Justin ,, thanks for sharing your videos,,if your you tube fans don’t watch till the end it’s not nothing that you are doing ,,probably just don’t have time to watch all of a forty minute video ,,sometimes it is hard to start and watch till it’s done a long video ,,,it might be in your better interest to watch how many long videos you put out and maybe try a little shorter version ,,,,I am retired and have all the time in the world and still don’t get to finish all of the longer videos.

How about clipping a small bell to your rod. I've noticed several times your back was to the rods and you had some hits but when you turned around the bite would stop. I think the fish were looking at you 😁
