In Hell's Kitchen, two teams compete for the prestigious job of head chef at a top restaurant, all under the guidance of world-class fiery chef Gordon Ramsay.
Mary Lou definitely made the smart choice by not putting Marc and Amber on the same team
Also making Marc and Declan work together in the opposite team
Marc done really well in the finale tbf
Marc is a better choice than amber. We've seen her collapse multiple times. Marc may have an ego but if you play it well you can get the best from him

Kind of surprised Lauren was picked second last and after Amber. She was part of that nearly unstoppable red team of ML, Kori, Nikki, Jordan, and Lauren.

Lauren and Amber become the reason why Mary Lou lost.
Amber for struggling at fish station again and overthinking and Mary Lou switched her with Cody and Amber said "Yeah, Cody is her wingman. Of course, she's gonna be nice to him."
First of all, you just can't cook fish and second of all, Cody has been your teammate for a long time and he knows your attitude.
Lauren in the other hand is a real definiton of dumb blonde. She doesn't understand Mary-Lou's menus and asking any parts of it one by one. Then, she once again walking around doing nothing. Only Cody and Nikki carrying the team.
Meanwhile, in Kori's team, Jordan has a problem in the meat and Kori asked the boys to help her and surprisingly, Marc didn't act like a jerk and respect Kori's leadership.

Cory picked a team of hard working team players with only Marc as a wildcard. The other side apart from Cody are so so and Amber's just a ticking time bomb.
Marc was strong in Korri's team. He wasn't constantly whining and he did his best.
Nikki and Cody were holding Mary's team together. Lauren isn't that great and Amber well, yeah ticking time bomb and probably the reason Mary lost.

I fully EXPECTED Marc to be last pick, though I expected Amber would have been second to last.
I don't feel Marc is a terrible cook, but he can be difficult to work with so i see why he was chosen last but still.
The fact marc recognized being picked last was irrelivant and it was about Kori yells me that theres a good guy burried in there. Based on the whole season, i can assume he is a great husband and father too. So yeah he may have been a shit on the actual show, but they had to make someone the villain right?.....

Spoiler alert:
Amber later keeps complaining to Kori for not picking her as her pick until the morning of the finale! And then in Mary-Lou's team, she once again struggled in Fish Station and Mary-Lou switched her with Cody and she said in confessional "Of course she's gonna be nice to Cody because Cody is her wingman." No, Bitch, you just suck at cooking fish!

Marc and Amber are both poison for their teams but Mary Lou has the advantage because a least Amber can cook a little.
But Marc wasn't trying to screw the finalist over while Amber was so salty and petty that she may very well have been the reason for Mary Lou's defeat.
Marc is a better pick than Amber. It is evident if you watched the final episode.

because Cody and Declan are already on nearly the same level as far as cooking ability goes, but she has more chemistry with Cody than she does with Declan which will lead to a smoother service. If Kori wouldn't have picked Declan she definitely would have picked him second

Gordon keeps pushing the idea that Lake Tahoe is beautiful. It is. But you only get 3 months of Summer and the rest of the time it's a hell of snow and tourists and more snow and even more tourists jamming up the roadways during the snow storms. And I'm not talking managable snow, but snow-up-to-your-roof snow. And then you have to get on your roof and shovel off the snow. But if you like skiing, then this is your place.
