This rivalry between the Knicks & Pacers was amazing back then. They met six times in the playoffs from 93-00, splitting those series 3-3 with the exception of '98 ( Pacers won in 5)the games and series were amazing. I'm glad I was able to watch all of them.

But besides Hakeem Olajuwon & Clyde Drexler. Nobody won while Jordan played. (Yes, Jordan came back in 95 and in playoffs was like himself)

But man did it end bad thanks to Hakeem olajawon and the Houston Rockets in the best performance against a murderers row of centers David Robinson, Patrick Ewing and the next year Shaquille O'Neil
Except in 94 Hakeem didn't go through Robinson, that wasn't until 95 either. The Rockets beat the Trailblazers, Suns and the Jazz on their way to the Finals against the Knicks in '94. That means Hakeem was facing the less-murderous row in 94 of Arvydas Sabonis, then a platoon of Mark West and Oliver Miller in Phoenix, then Felton Spencer for Utah before the epic showdown against Patrick. In '95 he went against James Donaldson (Spencer was hurt) for Utah, then Joe Kleine for Phoenix, then David Robinson and then Shaq. I think it's only when you combine 94 and 95 where it sounds intense but either year, Hakeem only went against 2 good centers per.
