Grimmel was supposed to represent what Hiccup could’ve become if he had killed Toothless.

No cap that has never crossed my mind before but it makes sense
My favorite part about Hiccup and Astrid's wedding is the fact that they got married in front of a statue of Stoick. The fact that Hiccup had a statue of his dad erected in the middle of the village, where all the important ceremonies would take place, shows how much he loves and reveres him. I also find it incredibly touching that Hiccup looks to memories of his father to help guide him in making the best decisions he can as chief.
How in the heck did I miss that detail about the statue. Now I'm sobbing even more
"There were dragons when I was a boy..." are the first lines in the book - its basically old grandpa Hiccup re-telling the story to some kids, i love how they ended with it. just perfect.
20:15 That "umbrella and a head" dance is actually based on the mating dance of a species of bird of paradise. And Astrid and Hiccup are amazing together, one of the best movie couples ever, imho. 46:20 Speaking of christmas, you should watch the short film Gift of the Night Fury. And you'll love Kung Fu Panda.
I love how she made all those mad cat noises until she relaxed a bit. The howling and hissing were Feline 101. The Light Fury, I mean... not Niamh. 😉
Seeing Niamh as a complete wreck was just so sweet. 😁 You will love Kung-Fu Panda.
Honestly 😭😭😭 truly a beautiful movie
41:44 as well as being the reverse of that moment in the first film, the piano solo here was actually played by composer John Powell as a personal farewell to the series 😢
You should definitely do Kung Fu Panda trilogy. Both that and the Dragon trilogy are exceptional.

Finally it is amazing BTW they are making a live action adaptation with stoick played by his voice actor
