Disney's A Christmas Carol, with Jim Carey, is done in this type of animation, but it is more realistic. The little boy says things never work out for him. He lives on the wrong side of the track, as they said, because the poor lived on that side of the track due to being on the downwind side of the smoke from steam trains. Being poor he missed out many things he wished for.

The first time I saw this movie it made me think of the movie “The King of Comedy “ with Robert DeNiro.

This is the best superhero movie I've ever seen because there's no hero, there's just the Dark Knight.

Matt Demon and Minnie Driver dated in real life because of this movie; it did not end well.

The scene where Robin is talking about his wife farting in her seat was made up on the spot by Robin Williams. Matt Demon's laughter was 100% real because the entire scene was not in the script. Even the camera moves a little because the cameraman was laughing so hard.

Along with so many other fantastic things, I love how the elevator near the end pings and then explodes for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

The hobo was a Christmas Ghost, obviously. It's an obscure and rare sub-type of ghost, but such ghosts exist. Strangely, they mostly exist to inspire Christmas spirit in those whose hearts are broken, or cynical, or troubled.

OK, I don't know why, but the way Niamh says holy shit when Michael is lifting Bob up by his throat cracks me up! 🤣 And Michael tilting his head back and forth at his hanging body has ALWAYS been my favorite scene in the movie! It's just so damn creepy!!!

one thing i appreciate about you guys is how you're each listening with both earpieces on, not just in one ear. it's such a disservice to the artists and filmmakers when people watch movies with just one earphone in. it's not how these art forms are meant to be experienced. ideally on a big screen with surround sound, but short of that, at least do the bare minimum and listen with both earpieces to get the full audio experience. you don't have to like movie or song, or whatever you're listening to, but at least have the courtesy to experience it the way it was meant to be experienced.

The Irish Curse (while a play on a couple of things considering she's wagging her pinky finger lmao) it recognizes the "luck of the Irish" meaning as being ironic and not straightforward as actual luck.

The courtesans of that period (at least for the upper class, obviously Japan at that time also had less prestigious sex workers for commoners) would have a lot of education, ahd also compared to most women of the time they have a lot more knowledge of politics because they get to listen to the male leaders in their private conversations. So it's logical that Lady Gin would be able to perceive Toranaga's schemes so well

You guys absolutely must do "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" (1991). Another amazing performance by Alan Rickman as the villain.

My top 3 Christmas movies are the, 1947 "Miracle on 34th Street", 1951 "Scrooge A Christmas Carol" - colorized version, and this movie, the "Polar Express". The acting in the first 2 movies are top notch and the Polar Express is great because of how an animated movie captured the true feelings of Christmas spirit.

I really enjoyed watching you both review "Die Hard." You definitely need to also review "Die Hard 2" (Die Harder) (1990). Reginald VelJohnson (Sgt. Al Powell) is also in this movie. Another great movie starring Alan Rickman for you to review is "Quigley Down Under." (1990)

Part 3 is even more fun (and I actually like 4 more than 2).
