Bravo should’ve gave her the same treatment that they gave to Kenya. And the only difference between the two is that Kenya let everyone know that her and Marc eloped but it wasn’t just filmed onscreen for obvious reasons.

As a haitian myself, I was in complete shock watching Nneka throw her culture under the bus like this. You don’t EVER bring up these stereotypes to people who don’t have a single clue about your culture! Whatever dynamic that is going on within the culture should be addressed behind closed doors. Nneka is doing way too much -- in catholicism a shrine basically just means a holy place ordained by a bishop or a church, that's why my catholic school in Illinois had the word "shrine" in it. Wendy's mom was probably just being shady and saying she was praying for Nneka (implying Nneka is a bad spirit) at the shrine. Sometimes older africans just use more formal language or speak in an outdated way. It's all stupid and embarrassing. Idk if Nneka is catholic, but if she isnt it's understandable why she'd be thrown off. she should have just pulled Wendy to the side and asked her to address things with her mom
I think the problem with this cast also is that they care too much about what fans are going to say to be authentic. Candace is probably tired of trying with Ashley but she doesn’t want to be seen as a villain and wants to appear to the public as the one who is trying so Ashley looks like she’s the aggressor. And similar with Wendy she wants to be on Ashley’s good side so she doesn’t seem like an aggressor either. I think colorism also plays into their actions too cause they don’t want to keep being called the angry/aggressive women.

Candiace and Wendy will always be on the defense . This is the fourth season where one of them are the target . It’s clear , Neka was brought on the show to ruffle Wendy’s feathers and to prove that Ashley, Robyn , Mia , Karen and Giz are not colorist . I have not watched this , horrible show with its horrible cast since episode 8 of season six.
I don’t understand why Karen, Candace and Wendy don’t team up. They are all outside the Ashley, Giselle, Robin, Mia group and if they stuck together then they couldn’t be threatened with not filming etc. Instead they all play a lone game. Candace and Wendy seem to keep trying to be in the others group.

The producers having to thread all the storylines of the group through Karen, who has made her disdain for Candiace and Wendy clear at certain points in the past, just shows that they’re willing to let this show go down the RHOA road instead of knocking certain people down a peg.
If they really need to keep mess going, get rid of both Ashley and Mia, demote Robyn, and treat Gizelle like the non-factor that she really is. When Gizelle can’t attack folks families as a storyline, we’ll get real drama worth watching.
Wouldn’t say disdain in Karen’s case though because Karen truly does seem like a person who wants peace but will call anyone out if she feels a way or gets to know them and changes her mind. And Karen is the only one who is cool with most of the cast

I’m not upset at Candace for saying she has fun with Ashley because they have. Yes Ashley has been dirty but the fact of the matter is you can still be honest because the cameras don’t lie. They have had good times together. I don’t want to see constant negativity, shade and nastiness from the ladies every episode. They have to try to get along because this divide isn’t going to last and they don’t have control over who they cast and don’t cast. Somebody is going to have to try and rise above the past and talk about their grievances so they can move forward and sustain this show. As we see, they are not getting rid of the ladies we need gone so they need to get on the same page somehow.

It appears that Wendy's mother took it to another level based on what Ashley said. To their credit, production kept showing us Ashley telling Nneka about the Wendy osu rumors. Put the blame on Ashley, not Nneka!!!!!!.

You’re correct! I’m confused as to why they are coming for Nneka like this. That girl didn’t do anything wrong. The average person would have done the same. This is a show where you talk about what’s going on in your life. Wendy’s ratchet mama and other family members ( allegedly) are coming for her. Why must not she talk about it? Brooke Ashley, I enjoyed your review. I really believe Wendy knows Ashley is not her friend. I think she's using Ashley for filming opportunities. She won't film with the GEB's, Shareese and Mia because they don't like her and vice versa. Same with Candiace, for filming opportunities, she'll film with Ashley. But I do hope Robin, Mia and Ashley are removed from this show. I don't believe Ashley is divorcing Michael, he just needed to cheat in peace, imo. Mia lies like a rug. Robin and Juan don't care, why should we. I don't like the xenophobia and I may have to stop watching and just catch reviews, it's disgraceful.

Girl I caught the “cocky” comment! I think the real storyline is that they’ve met in passing, and then Nneka met with producers and tried to force wendy to bring her on the show, Wendy didn’t oblige, and then when Ashley pushed the osu story that’s when Wendy’s mother went off. I doubt she actually “cursed” Nneka’s family. But wendy and her family have every right to feel like Nneka’s a stalker bc she’s forcing Wendy’s hand and making up how she knows her when they really don’t know each other well. That’s my take!
Additionally switching subjects I think Wendy and Candiace have a secret desire to be the popular girls’ friends- which is why they’re always around Ashley. As always girl you catch everything!

When or if Wendy and Nneka met before really isn’t an issue, they are essentially saying the same thing - they have crossed paths before, giving pleasantries amongst folks in common but have not ever been formally introduced.
Hey Brooke, I do think that Wendy and Nneka keep denying each other due to underlying issues outside the show. It is clear that they have issues outside the show. You see that even in Ashely’s home warming they just stood next to each other and acted very standoffish. According to Nneka, she received “glares” from Wendy. They must know each other, especially in passing. The way they have spoken against each other it seems liked there are definitely issues between them behind the scene. I also would like to add, as a Nigerian in Maryland, I have came across Wendy’s sister and her mother before in many Nigerian parties but never spoken to them before. Let me also add, that the Nigerian community in Maryland is very tight close together. I live far from Wendy, but have came across her family. My mom knows her sister, they worked together before. So l am not surprised that Wendy’s mom has Nneka husband’s cousin phone number. I do not believe all of this started from Ashely. It’s very common for Nigerians to be connected with shrines, and witchcraft. Some grandparents and ancestors or family members still practice it today. I don’t believe that Wendy’s mom has a shrine. Again, though its hard to believe that Nneka made these accusations up.
Nneka has too many receipts and very specific allegations for all this to be made up. she’s more believable than Wendy right now
