I felt for Lesa she looked genuinely hurt. I think you're right about Ayan wanting so badly to be Caroline Stansbury's friend. Ayan in the first season was a breath of fresh air and a star but because of this she wasn't natural this season she played into the character she thought people saw.

Tbh, outside of Ayan & Lesa's story, the other stories were a snooze fest.
Everyone being more upset at Brooks for recording Ayan vs Ayan for blatantly lying about wishing death upon Lesa was top tier gaslighting. Also, when Ayan gets caught in a lie she gets loud to divert attention, sad.

I guess it's my african side that has a soft spot for Ayan because her behaviour is not that odd in our country - especially coming from an aunty. That's why I read her completely differently, it's a cultural difference.

I’m team Lesa. She is my favorite and always best dressed unlike try hard Chanel and them rented fashions and party city wigs. But this reunion was somewhat of a let down. I can’t stand tacky phony Sarah. She a hypocrite and boring and brings nothing to the show and Taleen is a pick me flip flop.
This reunion nade me realize that there were bigger beefs/ politics behind the scenes. Because it didn’t make any sense to me.
It apparent that Andy is trying to protect Ayan's image by not making her take any accountability.

Ayan fell for the okie doke!!! Very disappointed in her behavior towards Lesa!!! She had no grace for Lesa but kissing stansbury ass the whole show. Thought she was better than that. Her loss!!! Desperate victims!!!
I think Stanbury genuinely hurt Lesa with those comments she made at the first reunion. Since then, Lesa has tried to get back at her and has failed. I would say even Stanbury knows she affected Lesa with those comments because when they had their sitdown, Stanbury genuinely apologised.
They are giving Lesa the Candiace treatment because I was so annoyed that they spent all that time yelling over and talking over Lesa about Ayan telling Lesa about that voice note before dinner just for them to brush past it when Lesa says Ayan told her that Carolyn was going to play something but not what. And Ayan didn’t deny it! Like that is pretty significant! That vague information is not Lesa KNOWING about the voice note. And saying she doesn’t implies she’s a liar and manipulate. Ayan does that mess a lot. Like I like her but damn girl! You’re turning into a Brooks. Have to take everything Ayan says with a grain of salt

After the first reunion episode flop I wasn’t interested in watching episode 2.
Even when told that Lesa heard what she said on the phone everyone wanted to say CB was wrong. But how was her letting Lesa hear what Ayan was saying different than Ayan playing the the tape for Stansbury.
Real talk: Ayan is a playing a character. Even if she’s not fake, she presents as fake. Lesa is a strong independent woman who walks in a room and quietly commands attention. The other woman recognize that and wanted to hurt her by breaking up the friendship, and unfortunately Ayan fell for it. I lost a lot of respect for Ayan in that moment. The audacity to tell Lesa you didn’t hear what you heard.
I read recently that all these women were never friends.
Lesa acted like she didn’t know about the vn, when she definitely knew will never not be weird to me. It doesn’t matter if Ayan told you mins before the dinner, the fact of the matter remains, she told you, then to have production and Sara confirm that she did indeed know…a mess! And those receipts she pulled on Stanbury were far from receipting, cos not even Stanbury or Andy were moved. I usually like Lesa, but again, her energy and anger were entirely misplaced this season.
Dso if Lesa 's reaction was weird, how do you explain Ayans reaction to Stanbury, acting hurt and making her jump through hopes to 'win back her trust'. Ayan is the weirdest of them all.

Ayan is functioning on half truths. Had production not protected her so much she would have been looking even crazier
Stansbury saying Lesa’s designs were stolen from a designer she personally knows and is an escort is pretty low. Come on now, Brooke. And Stansbury NEVER retracted it. I wouldn’t care if it was 1 or 2 years ago. That could mess up her business especially if Stansbury has the influence they say she does. And Stansbury had NO receipts so I don’t blame Lesa having proof. And those receipts did land with me because of course people will think that is your intellectual property. B. Simone got dragged for exactly the same thing years ago. If you’re big money why are you white labeling something like a journal anyway and then excusing another woman of copying designs? It’s hypocritical and they just skipped right over it.
I think you’re just over the show and I know you do a lot of reviews and these heffas get on your nerves but you lost me with that. Rox does the same thing when she’s over a show. Her reviews be something else 😂 and then she’ll announce she is no longer reviewing said show shortly after 😂 I don’t want you to give up Dubai but it’s understandable that you’re over it

Part 2 was boring. How many times is Lesa going to say that Stansbury talked about her business? Stfu already. Brooks doesn't apologize for anything. Sarah is useless to the show. Taleen interjects WAY too much.
Lesa is giving off nasty vibes, at this point. Listening to why she dislikes Stanbury is like shifting sands…. First she said she didn’t like Stanbury because Nina told her not to like her (what is she? Five), then she says she doesn’t like Stanbury because of Ayan, and now it’s because Stanbury talked about her business… Forgetting that Stanbury was talking about her business in response to Lesa tearing HER down and all Lesa’s meanness throughout season 1 to Stanbury. Lesa doesn’t take accountability much and definitely gaslights people.
The thing is. If Rhianna is a fan of the show then she is aware of Lesa's business and would have reached out herself. I think Lesa is secretely jealous that Rhianna reached out. Last year it was Naomi Campbell. She is pressed. Imo
Brookes looks like she’s just had Work done, the way she was stiffly holding her face and her neck, also she was looking a little bit swollen around her mouth and the lower half of her face.

This was one of the most disappointing reunions I've watched in a while.
Everything Ayan does comes off disingenuous. Sara was basically doing the MUTE challenge, i forgot she was even on the cast.
Lesa bringing up the casket comment at the end was a last attempt to control the narrative because she got caught multiple times Lesa is manipulative and that fake walk off with no tears proved that she is the professional victim not Ayan! 😂

This show and the fanbase is very nasty towards Lesa. I didn’t like that and I hope she doesn’t come back to focus on her business. She deserves better.
I am one of the ten people who enjoyed this season of Dubai. It was short, the drama wasn't too heavy, I saw them having "some" and Stanbury seemed like a new person. That being said, I despised the reunion. Andy's contempt for this show was on full display. His attitude showed why he shouldn't host the reunions. Bravo would be better getting Lisa Rinna to host the reunions. The unseen footage aired during the reunion was interesting and it's a shame that it didn't air during the regular show.
Rhodubai is actually good. The cast is very good. Beautiful, best dress and they have relationship with each other. The show just need to be promoted better

I didn't watch part 2. I think I know how it will go. Ayan will continue to do the most. Lesa will hold a grudge against Ayan-I really like Lesa but it's tired at this point. Caroline Strawberry not having that man's baby! Brook and Talen are feuding over whatever. Sarah was the only voice of reason at that reunion. The end.

RHODubai needs work. The women need to show up as their authentic selves and stop with the lying! Personally, I feel like Taleen and Stanbury are the most authentic. Despite Taleen being thirsty for Stanbury’s friendship lol, I feel like she’s not afraid to hold her own and knows how to have a good time. I just wish she toned it down a little at the reunion. Every conversation didn’t need her input!
Brooks, Lesa and Ayan alllllllll come across as liars to me. Brooks - no explanation needed. Ayan does all of these theatrics to deflect from the truth and plays into this ditzy role. Lesa is way too aware of the cameras. I think she puts on a facade and does try to hide things on camera. She needs to loosen up and be herself!
Sara, why were you there? Seriously, she added nothing, but she did annoy me! I feel like she was desperately trying to show her allegiance to Caroline Stanbury’s “team”. I still find it strange that she has so much smoke for Lesa. Maybe it’s because of the voice note and Lesa betraying her trust in that situation.
I also didn’t like how everyone was over talking Lesa. Like can she get out the point without 4 other women jumping in? It was so annoying!

I like Lesa but she really needs to learn how to move smarter with Stanbury, because from where I'm sitting she looks very bothered. That plagiarism accusation fell flat, it's a journal... not a New York Times Best Selling novel, it's not that deep. The best way to handle British snobs like Stanbury is to play their game, be polite, defend yourself ONLY when necessary, and keep it moving. She really should take her husband's advice, he would know since he's a Brit himself.
It is that deep if someone takes your words and refuses them. Wtf? Whether it's a Novel or a Diary it shouldn't matter. Taking credit for someone else's work is plagiarism. The same if someone stole your project at work and the following year presented it as theirs. How is that not deep?
P.s the Brit politeness fell flat because rich and Stanbury are not from the same social economic background. Rich is self made and Stanbury is old money. How she handles things is different from how Rich would. I reside in the U.K & work in both the corporate and HNWI demographic and the whole polite thing is exaggerated. In old money circles people can get rachet. Brits are just good at being pretentious. 😂

Lesa and Brooks are jealous that Ayan was the break out star they thought celebs like Naomi and Rihanna would show them the same love they showed Ayan and it hurt their egos that Ayan the one who they view as the joke of the group was the star of the show
Honestly, I really liked Lesa until she posted an intimate photo of Ayan without her consent on Twitter to prove that she was on Ozempic...that was too vile. I don't think any housewife has ever done that. Since then she's lost my support and this reunion also put things into perspective for me.
I have always felt Lesa and her husband have a very nasty streak. That is why Nina‘s husband wanted to expose them last season.
